In Sicily, Ferragosto means everything stops, except, apparently, this box! Buon Ferragosto to all of Our Friends out there! 🇮🇹🍇” by @alileowines

Ferragosto is almost here , the one day all of Italy agrees to stop.

No errands, no email, just wine, good company, and something worth lingering over. So we asked ourselves: what pairs better with a glass of Alileo than the kind of reading that makes you want to stay on the sun lounger a little longer?

That's how The Newsstand was born. We've always loved the work of Italy Segreta, so we're bringing their books and magazines into the shop! Great stories, photography, and the everyday Italy that never quite makes it onto a postcard.

Pour a glass, pick a volume, and take Ferragosto seriously this year.

7 bottles. 1 box. 🍷📦

Forbes just published 8 Unexpected Bottles Every Curious Wine Lover Should Try” but technically it’s 7 bottles and one box! @alileowines thank you @emily.cappiello for showcasing our Zibibbo Macerato alongside some amazing wines!

Skin-contact, naturally hazy, jasmine + citrus + honeysuckle. Sicily’s most iconic grape, poured from the format everyone said wasn’t “serious.”
