Chicago, you were a dream! ❤️

What a wonderful few days celebrating the premiere of Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story and kicking off @hallmarkchannel's #CountdowntoChristmas!

From visiting the incredible folks at Engine 70 and UChicago Medicine AdventHealth to meeting the incredible Hallmark fans who make all of this possible, it was a pretty beautiful week.

But the real highlight? The people. Old friends, new friends who already feel like family, and a lovely reminder of what a special community this is. Feeling very lucky to be a part of it.

A HUGE congratulations to the stunning and hilarious @lyndsyfonseca and the equally magnificent @robertearlbuckley and the entire cast and crew of Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story! I laughed! I cried! And can’t wait for everyone to see it! Watch it tomorrow!!!

And speaking of family, I can’t wait for you to meet ours! Did a press junket with the best humans @brookedorsay & @official.james.denton talking bout our new movie, A Season of Promises, premiering Sunday, November 8 at 8/7c on @hallmarkchannel and streaming the next day on @hallmarkplus.

A big thank you to the fabulous Hallmark PR team (@anniehowellpr ⭐️ W O W) for bringing us all together, and to the fabulous Chicago glam squad @lerinjohnsonartistry and @rhonakanehair for making me look considerably more glamorous than someone who just finished directing 😻

Chicago, you’re a keeper. ❤️ Go Bears! 🐻

One of the most extraordinary privileges of getting to play in the @hallmarkchannel world is the community we’ve all found here with each other. I’ve met so many incredible women on these trips we get to do together, and every single trip I get to collect another few into my sisterhood. I feel like I’ve known @aliliebert and @lyndsyfonseca my whole life and I just met them on Monday. How is that possible? @theerincahill and @brookedorsay I love you forever and I cannot imagine doing this life without you! Here’s to sisterhood and community, laughter and tears (both of which I experienced yesterday), and never ever letting @lyndsyfonseca go to bed when the gals are still hanging out. (Oh and these dudes are pretty great too! @robertearlbuckley @therealbrendan_penny #petermooney) by @aliliebert

Shiela makes a rare appearance on the set of Angels. If you worked with me as a director - you know I change my hair every few hours and I love a little lunch lay down. Doesn't matter if it's a dirty carpet, a girls gotta stretch out.

The West End just being utterly gorgeous.
Soaking up every second before the rain comes and ruins my hair my months on end.
When one of your besties pops downtown when you are so tired you can barely function but then you end up on a little ferry, running to Roger's before they close (made it 🍦), catching a stunner of a Sunday sunset...yassss babies it was gorgeous taken in West End by @aliliebert
