Just imagine… your mudroom in our studio. Sounds a little strange, right? But we can make it happen. We can take your new home plans or your renovation designs, and bring them to life at 1:1 scale, so you can walk through, feel out, and live your space before it’s built. That means you’re guaranteed to love it before building even starts. by @alimareadydesign

“WOW. Working with Ali has been one of the best decisions we made during our home renovation.

I found her on Instagram and instantly fell in love with her design style. After our very first phone call, I knew she was the best fit for our project. We hired her to design three different spaces in our home, and I was honestly blown away. She took our inspiration photos, listened to everything we wanted, and absolutely nailed every space on the first try. Any revisions we made were incredibly minor.

Beyond her talent, Ali is so organized and easy to work with. She was always prompt with communication, upfront about her process and pricing, and made what could have been an overwhelming project feel fun and exciting.

I’ve already had several local friends ask for her information after seeing our designs, and I haven’t hesitated to recommend her. We still have more rooms to renovate in the future, and there’s no question we’ll be hiring Ali again. If you’re looking for a designer who brings your vision to life, she’s the one.” - C.L.

The workstation sink that just makes sense 🙌🏼

My client knew she wanted this @ruvati sink in her kitchen. Not only is it super functional for her family and everyday life - but it’s also a beautiful showcase in her island. And we all know how much I love products that are both practical and pretty 💁🏻‍♀️😍

This sink is going to see years of holiday dinner clean up, Sunday meal prep and making the every day messes just a little easier ❤️🥹 (not me now re-evaluating how much impact a sink has in our lives)

What if you could step inside your rendering before you ever build it?

We’re excited to partner with Ali Maready Design to take beautiful interior renderings from the screen… to full scale.

Ali brings the vision to life through thoughtful interior design and detailed 3D renderings.

Walk Your Plans DC takes that vision one step further—projecting it at 1:1 scale so you can actually walk through the space.

Because seeing a rendering is one thing. Walking it is a whole different experience.

Design it. Walk it. Build it. by @alimareadydesign

a kitchen so good even your Pinterest board is jealous 😍

not only is this kitchen timeless and beautiful - the layout is crazy purposeful. Every drawer, cabinet door and shelf is thought out and will make my clients’s everyday easier.

a couple things I love about this kitchen:
- u-shaped kitchen
- ogee edge island
- mixture of materials + textures
- no wasted space
- hardware of dreams
- layered lighting
- a lot of cabinets, but it doesn’t feel heavy

what’s your favorite detail?

And honestly, whoever said white kitchens were out obviously hasn’t seen this kitchen 😍

Practical + pretty pantry 😍

This scullery is full of so much charm and character…but everything is done for a reason! My client’s wishlist:
- hidden washer/dryer
- lots of open storage (make it feel like a grocery store)
- cooktop stay where it already was
- island
- produce drawers
- smart storage
- charming scullery

And let’s just do a big ol CHECK ✅ for all of it!

It was such a pleasure working on this pantry renovation (can’t wait to show the before) with this client 💛🫶🏼

home is where the heart is…especially when it looks like THIS 🏡🪩

Nothing better than working with clients who become friends…especially when we get to design a home that feels cozy, is full of character and very functional.

I mean - the closets? The primary bath? The living room? And these are just a few of the spaces we are working on. Literally a dream 💗

Here’s to creating more spaces that are the perfect combination of pretty and practical 🥰

So many details packed into one photo: outlets in the baseboard, inset cabinetry, cabinetry and crown to the ceiling, wallpaper, switch covers wrapped in wallpaper, wall sconce location, ceiling register vents painted to match the ceiling

We love these details and bringing them to life! 🙌🏻

pantries are my absolute favorite space to design. full of function and character that is unique to every single client 🏡

swipe through for some practical & pretty pantry designs ➡️

#pantrygoals #pantryorganization #pantrydesign

dark and moody, but drawers full of baking supplies!

small pantry with French vibes! delft tile brings me joy every time 🩵💙

shiplap and checkerboard floors are my favorite details in a pantry!

proof open shelving in a pantry is a great idea! Also wallpapered ceilings forever 🥰

storage on storage on storage in this classic scullery! (not seen: the double oven and paneled appliances)

the amount of character this scullery packs in this space is next level! The floors, the garden sink, the delft tile, the vented drawers…etc - I’m obsessseddddd!

exposed hinges and latches are such a fun detail! (Also just realized I didn’t match the lower and uppers perfectly, must fix)

peep those snack drawers 😍

don’t mind if I blue 🙃🩵 (I’m sorry I had to)

one of my absolute favorite colors - worn leather shoes!

tiny but full of function!

peep those scallops!

Cremone bolts forever!
