What an incredible piece of work. This exhibition was just breathtakingly beautiful. Not just fashion, but history stitched in every thread. Honoring the craft and culture of Black tailoring. This exhibition celebrates the elegance, resilience, and artistry of Black style.

AILEY II April 4th 2025
.
Ailey II returned home for their NYC season for only two weeks and I was glad to had seen the amazing performances they had.
.
Echos program which entailed for 3 acts Luminous, Down the Rabbit Hole, and Streams symbolized the enduring resonance of humanity and Ailey II connecting generations through storytelling, cultural preservation, and innovation. (From Ailey.org)

One of my new found interests is definitely the ballet. I’ve been going to the ballet for two years now. I’ve yet to go alone, I usually drag my friends or family members with me and one thing I enjoy the most is seeing them enjoy and appreciate it as much as I do. @nycballet

I’m excited again to share all my new found loves on this page

✨ Mario Merz✨
It’s always a nice feeling to step outside the city and the best way to do that is going to my favorite town Beacon.

Beautiful pieces! I’m not active on social media anymore and I always contemplate deleting all my profiles but I’ll keep posting photos and writing how I am feeling in the captions 🧚🏾‍♀️

✨SEMPER FIDELIS✨
I spent a few days in South Carolina and had the pleasure to visit US Marine Corps Base in Parris Island. I learned a lot about the history of the base and also about USMC trainings and their values. Three things I learnt:
1) Parris Island used to be a slave plantation, then was a US Navy base, and now is USMC base,
2) The values of US Marine Corps and what makes a great and successful Marine. Talking to drill instructors, veterans, sergeants, and new Marines about the hard-work and dedication that goes into the intense training which molds you into a strong minded person with a better sense of purpose was inspiring for me,
3) Support of family is unmatched. One can find family either through birth or community and this world is too big yet too small to live a life without support. The love and support we get from loved ones is something we tend to overlook but if deprived of it, we see value in.

If ever presented with the opportunity to visit US military bases, please seize the moment as every opportunity can be used to learn and get a different perspective of things we don’t understand.
