I recently had the opportunity to sit down with The Alimond Show and share more of the story behind my 26 years in real estate. Going into where I started, what brought me to Northern Virginia, and how my experience in new construction has shaped the way I work with my clients today.

We talked about the parts of real estate you don’t always see on Instagram: rebuilding a business, navigating an industry that is constantly changing, the importance of relationships, and why I still genuinely love helping people figure out what “home” looks like for their next chapter.

And of course, we talked about new construction, design, luxury real estate + life here in Northern Virginia.

In the middle of a conversation with Dr. Ammar Al Mahdi of Elite Orthodontics, he shared something that stopped me for a second and reminded me why I love what I do.

There’s something incredibly fulfilling about watching brilliant business owners find their voice, share what they know, and build something bigger through video and content.

But moments like this remind me that it’s really about so much more than cameras, content, or business growth.

It’s about people.

It’s about seeing someone you believe in and asking, “How can I help you shine a little brighter?”

And somewhere along the way, clients become friends, collaboration becomes connection, and the work starts to mean so much more.

This season of my life has been about doing things scared.

I stopped waiting to feel ready and learned that confidence doesn’t always come before the leap. Sometimes you take the leap, learn, grow and the confidence catches up.

“Nobody else in this world has your story.” — Dr. Elias 🤍

Dr. Elias came on The Alimond Show expecting a lot to prepare for and worry about. Instead, he found a conversation he felt guided through, thoughtful questions, and space to explain how he helps people.
Then he posted one of his clips… and it reached nearly 20,000 views. 🙌
