On Saturday, November 28, discover new music at different locations throughout ’s-Hertogenbosch. With short performances by Alina Rov, Honingbeer and Doriene Marselje, the route takes you through a range of distinctive sonic worlds.

Alina Rov brings live coding to the stage. Honingbeer, the solo project of violinist Marthe Lasthuis, creates a dreamy electro-acoustic sound world. Doriene Marselje explores new compositions for harp and Buchla synthesizer.

90 minutes of rain.
One room. Eight resonators.

I recorded the rain pouring around the house where I was living in Stadt Whelen during an especially wet period, then pushed it through eight different resonators. In the center — a tape recorder.

The result: rain, stretched into an 8-channel instrument.

We welcome JY8627 (@depthbuffer_studio) whose practice focuses on creative coding, generative systems, and audiovisual interaction.

Together with Alina Rov (also known as Alina Petrova @alin_a_alinn), experimental sound artist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. She is a core member of the Russian feminist protest and art collective Pussy Riot, performing live strings and electronics in their internationally touring show Riot Days.

European tour begins 🔥🔥🔥
Riot Days is more than a concert. It’s a story of resistance told through theatre, music and film.

Masha (Maria) Alyokhina — member of Pussy Riot. She wrote the two books the show is based on, Riot Days and Political Girl, and takes the story on stage every night.

Taso Pletner — actor, theatre director and activist, member of Pussy Riot. His work opened Velvet Terrorism, the first-ever Pussy Riot retrospective, from Reykjavik to Montreal, Vancouver and Munich.

Alina Rov — composer and multi-instrumentalist, member of Pussy Riot. The violin, the electronics, the pulse the whole show is built on. She founded the Kymatic ensemble and works across contemporary music as composer, sound artist and curator.

Eric Breitenbach — member of Pussy Riot and the drummer driving Riot Days. An explosive, physical approach to drums and electronics, he opens each night with a solo set from New Age Doom before joining the show.

☢️ Circular Zone is back next week, Thurs Sept 3rd, with live experimental performances by multi-instrumentalist and Pussy Riot member Alina Rov (computer) and multimedia sound artist and researcher Ani Samperi, who will present L’Eden et Aprês (guitar, fx, weapons).

Alina Rov is a sound artist, composer, and performer working at the intersection of electroacoustic composition, feedback systems, and installation art. Trained as a classical viola player she later turned to computational and live electronic practice. Her work explores resonance, energy, and the boundaries between acoustic and electronic systems. She is a member of Pussy Riot. Her practice is inseparable from political commitment and transparency as aesthetic value.

L’Eden et Aprés is a performative sound experiment, conducted and embodied by Ani Samperi, featuring an arsenal of household mechanical devices doubling as weapons of sonic destruction. Using a pumice stone, a nail file, an ice pick, and other “tools” to extract cinematic soundscapes and textural noise from an electric guitar, she uses the stage as an altar upon which the physicality is of sound metabolizes symbols of utility and domestication into a brutal sensuality. For every texture, a claw mark holds it perpetually in the present, each note suspended in the air as it glistens and glitches...

We try to keep Wednesdays as days off but we rarely succeed… Yesterday, the participants had a surprise workshop from the incredible @jonsatrom and @nbriz, and finished @ioana.vreme.moser’s workshop in the afternoon 💥
In the evening, amazing presentations from three participants from the class of 2026: @alin_a_alinn presented her practice, talked about being part of @pussyriot and doing live coding. Then @archaeolojay talked to us about going from a degree in archaeology to doing computational art. And finally Séraphin presented his work in software development and his passion for music 🎶 taken in Nevers, France by @novembermusicnl
