Hi, I'm Alina, a luxury fashion & lifestyle photographer based in London, and here's a little bit about me✨

I'm 32 and have been living in London for over 10 years - do I get my Londoner badge of honour yet?

I've been photographing everything and anything since I was about 12 before focusing my craft onto fashion during university 📷

I am the most organised person on set and in real life (I don't think my friends have planned a holiday by themselves in years😅)

Over the past 11 years I've worked with some truly amazing brands, such as @google, @asos, @swarovski, @johnlewis, @viktorandrolf, @spin_brands just to name a few 🙏🏼

I love travelling, and by that I mean backpacking through hidden gems, eating local food, taking night trains, chatting to corner shop owners all over the world 🌎

I read A LOT, so if you're going to hang out with me chances are you'll leave my house with some books in your purse 📚

I moved from North London to South and SURVIVED and now I love both (I said it, ok💂🏼‍♀️)

I find inspiration in everything - I think beauty really is all around us if we stop and look, and I think we could all do with a little bit more noticing 🤍

I am originally Romanian 🇷🇴, and am fluent in Romanian, English and Spanish

I'm obsessed with good tomatoes 🍅(Jake can vouch for this one)

I will be the last person on the dancefloor and the loudest one at a gig - not very good at standing still🕺🏼

I'm not the best at being in front of the camera, so even for this post I just had to incorporate both my face and my work 🌸🥀

Quiet evenings at The Mandrake Hotel in the heart of London.

A place unlike any other in the city. As soon as you leave the busy street in Soho and enter the hotel, you're hit with an immense sense of calm. The design, the scents, the botanical garden in the courtyard, all the details make this place a perfect escape from the city - a place to disappear in for a night or two.

There are spaces that allow creativity to pour out of you. This was what this day was for me.

Damu, part of The Mandrake Hotel in Fitzrovia, is an oasis unlike any other wellness centre I've ever seen.
It's a place to recharge, a place that allows you to take in the beauty that surrounds you.

Last year with an all Romanian team, we watched @francescavelicu from The English National Ballet dance in an empty studio for hours in front of my camera and called it work. What an honour. 🩰🪩

Something that I will never stop doing is creating art just for the purpose of making my soul feel good.

As a freelancer in one of the busiest creative capitals in the world, it's so easy to get tangled up in deadlines, pitches, targets, and everything that comes in between. For anyone who knows me, I'm a hard worker. I do it all.

It's part of the job.

But sometimes, as an artist, in order for me to give out the best I can in my work... I have to take a walk with my friend at sunset.

I have to lay on the beach, share a bag of peaches, have a glass of white wine and talk about everything and anything.

That's my creative process.
