Anyone else in a phase where they want less performance and more real connection?Less proving. Less chasing. Less feeling like every moment has to mean something or lead somewhere.More presence. More depth. More nights where nobody’s trying to impress anyone and everyone can just exist as they are.I think I spent so much of my life thinking happiness would feel louder than this. Bigger. More obvious… but lately it’s looked a lot more like slow conversations, safe people, genuine laughter, feeling beautiful for yourself, and coming home feeling emotionally full instead of emotionally drained.Less noise. There is something beautiful about catching yourself in a moment where you feel confident, calm, and a little bit powerful without even trying. Tonight felt like one of those nights. Some days you wake up and everything just clicks … your hair, your energy, your peace. The plot twist of 2026: dark roots. I know, I know - but hear me out After bleaching every six weeks since (let’s not count, we decided my scalp deserved a vacation.
