TO MY COMMUNITY. Thank you so much for all of your love, support and prayers. There is so much behind the scenes preparation that goes into competing, and each of you have held me in stressful moments, held my hand when I was scared, and loved on me in moments where I was questioning my gifts and abilities. Thank you to @christiehoran and the MCG community for cheering me on! I am so blessed to be able to workout with the best gals in DC. Thank you to @rebeccalaubner for the many hours of teaching yoga that you put in to help me raise money for The American Heart Association.Thank you to my church family who stood by me and prayed with me for weeks! I LOVE YOU ALL. Thank you to my pastor @delaneywoodward for believing in my dreams, and for affirming what God has placed on the inside of me. And for everyone not pictured, who texted me, called me, sent me a voice memo, and everything in between - I LOVE YOU!And to my amazing parents, who have always supported my dreams - I wouldn’t be here without you!I am not going to give up on this dream until God tells me to. What an honor it was to co-emcee the 2026 @missamericasteenny competition! I still can’t believe it was over a decade ago since I won the title, and now it’s such a privilege to still be apart of an organization that gave so much to me! The women in this org are INCREDIBLE! ❤️❤️❤️❤️Also - thank you to my amazing momma for being the best pageant momma ever, and to @missjamielynnh for being the best co-emcee. White House Correspondents’ Week is in the books. So grateful for a week of celebrating the first amendment, and even more grateful for the safety of my friends and colleagues, after Saturday’s events.As someone who works so closely with journalists, I am in awe of their courage to withstand such a terrifying moment, and report to the American people. To be loved by you both @christian.b.pena & @izzi.pena has been such a blessing. When I joined the team two years ago, I didn’t know that my life would be changed by your leadership and consistent love. Now to my girl @christian.b.pena, you have blessed me in more ways that I can explain. Your presence is grounding and authoritative, and you always pushed me closer to Jesus. You believed in me, supported me during really difficult seasons, and always reminded me of my growth. I will be carrying everything you taught me into this next season, and am so excited for you and your beautiful family as you enter this next chapter 🤎 thank you for not only being an incredible leader, but an incredible friend. SHE’S RETIRED👑After over a decade of competing, I stepped over to the other side on November 16 when I was the head judge for the @missstatenislandny competition. Thank you all so much for having me!Competing in the Miss America Organization changed my life, and there’s nothing like the incredible NY Team! Competing gave me an opportunity to serve my community, and become the dynamic, adaptible, and effective leader I knew I always I could be.Now, being on the other side, I am able to pour back into the amazing people who poured into me, while also playing a small part in making someone else’s dream come true!Here’s to the retired life, and dare I say, I really like it over here ☺️👑 by @alisaa_danielle
