The last photo was taken in my early days with Universal Music Taiwan, back when I was still trying to prove my worth to an industry that couldn’t teach me how to love myself. If I could talk to her now, I’d tell her it won’t always feel so lonely, that her voice will one day be used for healing instead of validation, and that every challenge she’s about to walk through will shape her into someone she’s proud of. Sixteen years later, I may still fit into the dress, but more importantly, I finally fit into myself♡

If you’re in a season of finding your own voice or reconnecting with the parts of you that needed gentleness, I’m here to support you.

This night reminded me why I started singing in the first place. After nearly a decade away from the stage as a solo artist, returning to share my voice in this way felt like a full-circle moment. Performing again wasn’t about chasing a dream… it was about embodying it. About remembering that co-creating an atmosphere of love and unity through music is the purest form of service I can offer.

It was my first ticketed show outside of sound baths and @lightthepathofficial performances. Just me, my voice, and a few of my favorite songs from across genres. LA may be where I was born, but Seattle is where I found the home within myself, and it meant so much to sing for this city and the people who have held me along the way🫶🏽✨

Endless gratitude to @killingsworth.vibe, my music partner, best friend, and the other half of Light the Path, for shaping the sound, light, and flow of the night, and to @raymn.mp3 for bringing that effortless creative chemistry that makes every performance feel so alive.

Thank you to @sofarseattle , @gearhouseseattle and EVERYONE who came out to support. I felt every ounce of your love. I can’t wait to share what’s next.

There comes a point when being understood matters less than being at peace. When you stop asking the past to make sense and begin making room for the life unfolding in front of you.

Autumn in Seattle reminds me that beauty doesn’t wait for us to have everything figured out. The leaves turn gold, amber and rust, then loosen their hold and return to the earth. There is something quietly extraordinary about witnessing a season change without asking it to stay.

It’s easy to become so consumed by what hurts that we forget how much life is still happening around us. The unanswered questions. The disappointments. The endings we wish had gone differently. They matter, but they are not the entirety of our lives.

Not every ending needs a villain. Not every wound needs an apology. And not every love has to last to have mattered.

Sometimes we need to step outside, feel the cold air on our faces and remember that this difficult season is only one part of a much larger life. There is still so much beauty to witness.

Some things are beautiful precisely because they are temporary. We can be grateful for what they gave us without asking them to stay.

This is for the women who held me when life came undone.

The ones who never asked me to make my pain make sense. Who didn’t need the whole story to believe me. Who stayed, showed up and reminded me who I was when I’d lost sight of her.

There are men I could name for the harm they’ve caused me and countless other women. Not all men, but in my life, most. And what allows that harm to continue isn’t only the men who cause it, but the silence of those who know better.

How you speak about women when they’re not in the room tells me everything I need to know about how you value them.

Women are why I found my way back to myself. And I will never take lightly the women who made sure I didn’t have to find my way alone.

Tag the woman who held you.
Remind her of how precious she is

As I settle into this new space, finding a new rhythm and figuring out what home looks like now, I wanted to pause and simply say thank you.

As a yoga teacher, I don’t get paid leave, sick days, or year end bonuses. But I do get something I wouldn’t trade for anything… a community of friends and students who show up for me, remind me that I’m loved, and remind me again and again why loving on humans brings me so much joy ♡

Thank you for your patience if I’ve been a little slower to respond lately. I’ve been through hard seasons before, and I know that even the ones that break us open can shape us into who we’re meant to become.

If you’re moving through a dark season of your own, please know that you don’t have to rush your way through it. Pray. Meditate. Breathe. Slow down. Let yourself feel what you need to feel. You don’t have to have all the answers right now. Change is the only constant… and lately, that reminder has been helping me put one foot in front of the other.

I’m beyond touched, truly humbled, by the generosity and care I’ve received during what has felt like one of the darkest seasons of my life (cue the Autumn Equinox). There really aren’t words big enough for this kind of gratitude. Every hug, every card, every thoughtful gift, every meal, every helping hand will hold a special place in my heart.

No matter how bleak things may feel, I’m being reminded that I don’t have to carry everything alone.

I will always be held.
I will always be cared for.

Thank you, thank YOU, from the deepest recesses of my heart ♡

This summer gave me a lot…

A lot of love. A lot of lessons. A lot of moments that changed me in ways I’m still figuring out.

Some things I’m grateful for. Some things I’m grateful to have learned from. And some things I’m still learning to let go of.

As summer comes to an end and we step into the fall equinox, I’m feeling really open to the change. To whatever this next season has to teach me, bring me, and ask of me.

Here’s to turning the page without needing to know exactly what comes next.
