Theres barely any decent mountain hikes/tramps I am allowed to do with my bird and sheep trained mountain buddy here in NZ - am respectful of the conservation reasoning, but am sad there are so few places we can go adventuring. The colours and light today were stunning. No lightroom presets - exactly as shot. You could see clear detail in all directions. And do you know the best thing? Winter is coming ❄️ Never been in NZ in the snowy season. First slight snowfalls on the mountains tell me it’s going to be stunningly beautiful - and next level chilly! Lakeside wander with Amber today - loved the contrast of icy blue water, vivid green bush sunlit through a gap in gathering snowclouds above the monochrome Remarkables. πŸ‘Œ And later, at the supermarket (retail park has the best views ever!) the pink cloud and light on Triple Cone warranted a camera whip-out! Enjoy summery UK June. Ali & Amber x #remarkables #mountainscape #mountainlove #raw_landscape #raw_nz #landscapephoto #landscapelover #queenstown by @alisaotearoa

And I kid you not, Amber & I were the only ones on these beautiful long beaches. The cliffs were covered with carpets of Ice Plants - a succulent with pink and yellow daisy like flowers. Just simple loveliness. Stay curious Ali & Amber x #coastpath #southislandnz #nz #cliffwalk #solohike by @alisaotearoa

I rarely see anyone on this beach, apart from languid sleeping seals, oblivious to the crashing waves - and seeming, in moments between fishy dreams, to understand we are respectful of their space.
