A look back on my film photography journey this year!

In 2025, I made a conscious decision to invest more time into photography to continue honing my craft. I went out of my comfort zone, attending workshops, photographing friends and models, networking with other creatives, trying different films and gear - things I thought I wasn’t experienced or qualified enough to do, but things I did anyway.

Through analog photography, I learned so much about intention, patience, and presence. I learned when to step closer, when to step back, and when to put the camera down. I learned to value the way I see and photograph the world.

Thank you to all my friends and family for always supporting my work, and to all the creatives I’ve connected with this year. I’m excited to continue going out of my comfort zone and developing my skills in 2026 💫

lines and shapes of sacramento 〰️▪️

these photos were taken when i attended @ordinaryanywhere’s oddly satisfying workshop hosted by @signarareplants back in september. i had an incredibly formative experience, learning how creativity can come from interrogating your habits and focusing on small improvements. i enjoyed experimenting with new compositions and subjects, stepping closer and stepping back. thank you to @enochhhhhhh for your expertise and mentorship, and to @signarareplants for making this possible.
