Officially closing a chapter of my life this year🤍

Nationals marked the end of dancing at jamie campbells dance company. So I’d like to thank some of the people who showed me love and helped me these past years!

To my core four:

I love you guys forever and always. I hope we stay as close as we are now and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you. You guys will accomplish great things, even greater than what you have already done. Love you guys 💗

To team teal:

You aren’t my friends, but my sisters. Many of which I danced with all 7 years at jcdc. You guys made me a better person and showed me what sisterhood is. I love you guys so much and can’t wait to see what success you guys will have on your own paths!

To my driving buddies:

Thank you for always wanting to go shopping and getting food at all times. And I can’t wait for our next McDonald’s trip! Love you guys 🫶

To my jcdc friends and family:

Thank you guys for supporting me throughout the year! I loved watching everyone in person and on streams. I hope you are so proud of yourselves and your talent! You guys help me push myself to be a better dancer and I can’t thank you enough!

To the Oteros:

The best family to have cheering you on! You have been with me since the beginning and I am so blessed to have you guys in my life. You guys mean more to me than you will ever know. I love all of you guys so much. Thank you dariella for always making me laugh and giving big hugs when we see eachother. Thank you Dee for always cheering me and my team on, I love hearing your voice and knowing you are watching always makes me happy. Dari, you were my first little sister, you make me so proud to be your friend and I love watching you do what you love. Ariela and Danny, you guys have always been so supportive of me: showing up to my graduation, waking up early to watch me walk at nationals, and always helping me back stage. I can go on and on but just know that you guys all mean the world to me and I will miss you while I’m in college 💙

🤍 My recital solo 💙
•
The song I chose was for my mom, this is her favorite hozier song because she used to call her sisters “shalala” when they were kids and that’s what hozier repeats in the song. But towards the end of the routine, I took from mim, sophia whitelaw, haley fasoli, Ashley dimarzio, and dariannys solo. Only a small reflection of the many people who I care about at jcdc. This solo meant the world to me and I am so happy that I get to share it with all of you!
•
I’d also like to say thank you to jamie for trusting me to choreograph a solo for recital for my senior year. And thank you to Wendy for helping me while I was stuck on what to do next. As well as for pushing me and making me do things that only made me better as a dancer. I’m so sad that our time was so short together but I’m so excited to see what you choreograph in the following years to come!

Last one best one 🎊

My final recital was one to remember, I’m so grateful for everyone who made the weekend so special!

Each preformance came with its own special memories. My lyrical dance started off my last show strong, then preforming with my whole team for the last time at recital with our sultry jazz dance, to then quickly hyping myself up for my first time preforming in a hiphop dance. Then the emotions all came at once backstage crying with my team as we prepared to do our contemporary dance, after that I did my (partially) self choreographed solo right before coming back on stage to close our show in the finale!

Safe to say this recital has by far been the highlight of the past 7 years here at JCDC. But I can’t wait to make even more with my new dance team at Westfield! And I hope to see some familiar faces in the crowd with me 🩵🤍💙 by @alisha.fed.dance

And thats a wrap on BHS Dance team 💙

These past four years were everything I could’ve ask for and more! I never thought I’d be able to captain a team of my own at UDA nationals and thanks to everyone’s support, the unthinkable became achievable! Thank you to all of my coaches who have pushed me to become a better version of myself as a dancer,captain, and person. I cant wait to visit next year!

⭐️NATIONALS 2025⭐️

My first ever nationals was the most fun and exciting week of dance yet! Look how I ended the season:

Dog days are over: 💎2nd overall -> battle 4th place

The way I do: 🏅platinum 2nd in category
