Outfits my mirror has seen recently 💁🏻‍♀️

Trying to get better at dressing in clothes that fit properly and not hide under oversized dresses!

In case you missed it, I’m on a bit of a weight loss journey to try and help heal my PMOS (previously known as PCOS). I won’t be posting any before & after photos as I know it can be triggering for some, so instead I’m just going to be braver in my clothing choices & share myself more!

Currently wearing a mix of RTW and handmade clothes as I rebuild my me made wardrobe in sizes that fit better!

I’m excited to find my new style and experiment with new patterns!

This sewing hack with completely change your sewing 💁🏼‍♀️

The compartment on your sewing machine doesn’t need to be for boring things like threads & tools, you can fill it with your favourite snacks!

The obvious choice for this time of year is mini eggs 💁🏼‍♀️

(My @pfaffuk Ambition 610 fits 5 bags of @aldiuk mini eggs! Perfect for a full day of sewing!)

Last weekend me & my trusty @pfaffuk went off our holidays to Kirkcudbright with the best bunch of gals! 💕
We sewed, we stayed up late chatting & had fun exploring Kirkcudbright! It was like the dreamiest sleepover!

My first make of 2026 and the first of the #sew26in26 challenge ✨

I made the @fabricgodmother Aspen Dress in a Navy Needle Cord. I added a bit of length to the skirt (still deciding if it was too much!) and then changed the cuffs to elastic. The under collar has some hidden fish - a little nod to my fishing obsessed husband!

Sewing club day out 🪩

Yesterday a few of the sewing club gals headed to @citizenstheatre for their costume upcycling workshop!

We were given a whole pile of fabrics used to make costumes for shows, some sewing machines and a load of trims and had 3 hours to create something!

I opted for a little apron for my sourdough baking journey!
