Happy Father’s Day!

Geoff and I worked on a special project…having my grandad’s WWII medals professionally mounted and framed as a gift for my Dad. My Grandad fought the Nazis with the British 8th Army in WWII.

It turned out to be so much more than just framing medals. As we sorted through his military records and learned more about my grandad’s service, I found myself feeling connected to a man I never had the chance to know. His story, his sacrifices, and the legacy he left behind suddenly felt much more real.

Seeing my dad’s reaction reminded me how important it is to preserve these pieces of family history and pass them on to future generations.

A meaningful project, a beautiful way to honor my grandad, and a special Father’s Day memory for my dad.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandads, and father figures who have shaped our lives. ❤️ #FathersDay #FamilyHistory #WWII #Legacy #RememberingTheirService @geoffsiepker @brian.woodburn.9 by @alisiepker

This is how I want to remember Travis! Fun, full of life, slightly weird but beautiful. I remember this day. We found a turkey feather out on a walk and he was really freaked out by it 😂. I’m so glad he chose us to be his humans. He was so special, and I will always love him @geoffsiepker 🌈💔 by @alisiepker
