Join @paperjanemusic and myself this Saturday @martianssaloon for a double bill of excellent standard and proportion! I just discovered the brilliance of Buck Edwards @sj6edwards and his fantastic band recently. A real gem of a country band! Buck’s voice is to die for! Crittenden Tyndall (aka Louise) has been on a long journey to achieve this wonderfully charming, beautifully written collection of songs about people, places, history, culture and experiences. I was fortunate enough to be involved in the production of this recording, adding a little something here and there. Louise’s autism could have something to do with how long it has taken her to pluck up the courage and self-belief to achieve this life-altering milestone, but I believe her autism has also given the world a truly unique and wonderful collection of songs. You are an inspiration to me, Louise, and I salute you for your incredible bravery and inspiring creativity. I’m so glad I got to a part of it! The thanks to @jackiemarshallonthemoon for guiding Louise through her musical journey 🩷 Catch Crittenden Tyndall Friday night, 17 July from 7.30pm, followed by me and my band the Upshots at @soundworksmusicstudio in Brunswick.
