This one stings. The Ridgefield house that built me is now for sale, marking the end of 44 years of chapters in my book of life.

Summers spent fishing and row boating, playing in the pool for entire days, and gathering annually for “Camp Carrescia”. Winters spent playing pond hockey after Dad would use the snow blower to clear a rink. It’s always been home base for me.

People have always said “Wow, you live in the house behind the pond?!”. It’s literally in the center of Twin Ridge, iconic, loved, unique and ready for another family to start their own lifetime of memories.

Cost vs Value. Value doesn’t come from spending the most money. It comes from receiving an experience beyond what you could envision with as little stress and effort as possible.

Ask yourself “Is my hard earned money and well deserved vacation time worth entrusting a professional to relieve the burden of research, and creating a travel experience that allows me to just enjoy vacation?” That is the true meaning of value.

So, turns out I was wrong (sort of). I still never want to step foot on a massive cruise ship with thousands of people, but what I saw with my own discerning eyes reminded me that sometimes the opinions we hold might be worth revisiting.

I experienced something I never expected and it challenged everything I thought about luxury cruising. Pretty excited that I was mistaken…. by @alisoncwarner
