Hallelujah for @hotnessintimates 🙌 Hotness has ruined every other tank and pair of underwear I own. Not an ad. Not paid. Not an employee. Not an investor. I did one campaign as their elderly model, and now I’m fully converted. I live in these things. I’ve got all the colours, shapes, crops….the tanks are insanely soft, somehow never stretch out, and still look and feel brand new. The underwear is just as good. My laundry schedule is now built entirely around Hotness. Taking new underwear pics also reminded me I’m not quite in the same shape I was for that original campaign. 😅 When I shot it, I’d just quit smoking cigarettes and had basically stopped smoking weed. I’m still cigarette-free, but I’ve let a weed back into my life and, if I’m honest, it derails me on the eating and exercise. Happy Birthday to my fellow Squirrel Bubba ♥️ I was lucky to spend the past week with Bubba stranded on an island 🤣 which meant I got world-class meals, great laughs, a few lake plunges, and great conversations on life, work and everything in between. Bubba has a gift for making big ideas feel simple….and making you want to be a little better without ever preaching. Equal parts deep thinker, great friend, and phenomenal cook. Took the plunge yesterday… literally. Spent a few hours at @sanasana.ca on Geary with @bubbanicholson doing his @bluecollarbreathwork , followed by saunas and cold plunges 😱 As always, Bubba somehow found exactly the right words. He has a way of making the plunge feel possible, helping you stay present, and reminding you that the real practice isn’t the cold. it’s learning to control your breath when your mind wants to panic. The best part is his tools work just as well outside the plunge. Stress, anxiety, life’s chaos… it all feels a little more manageable when you know how to come back to your breath. Bubba has always inspired me. The way he shows up every day, with intention, for work and life. He’s also a true blue friend. Soon everyone will have his wisdom and way with words (spoiler alert: Blue-Collar Breath work will be on a book shelf near you soon 🙌). If you need this in your life then find and follow Bubba @bubbanicholson @bluecollarbreathwork And if you’re looking for a place to take you out of the weekly grind and bring you back to your breath, I can’t recommend Sana @sanasana.ca enough. You and me. EST 2001. Oh, I’ve loved her so long. My original work wife. We shared an office for 14 years and never once had an argument or exchanged loud or angry words. I am forever grateful she chose me to start @rethinkbreastcancer with back in 2001. From a shared donated closet/office at Zig (RIP Zig IYKYK) @elspethlynndesign @shuwuntao to the hallway at ZIG to our own little office on Richmond Street. We built Rethink from an idea to support young women diagnosed with breast cancer to the incredible national organization that supports, educates and advocates at the highest levels. MJ is the definition of class and kindness and purity. I have learned so much from her over all these years and am forever blessed that she is my friend, my confidant, my family, my sister, my heart ♥️ And leave it to our original Rethink brand builder and board memeber @person_of_interests_ to capture us perfectly this past weekend at her incredible new farm! by @alisondoesdamage

I got the coolest perfume necklace from @sujipmihak in Seoul. Such a fabulous idea. Learning to surf this late in life is a trip 🤪 Why didnt I start earlier? I didn’t realize that smoking took up so much of my time, energy and effort. I think I chose all my activities (or lack thereof) based on whether i could smoke or not. I couldn’t even book a massage for fear I’d rather have been sitting around and smoking. .Still taking it day by day. Still hoping I stay strong. Still wondering if I’m boring and unworthy. Still going to keep learning how to surf.
