Our Alison. ❤️
We’ve known her for almost a decade.
We know exactly how talented she is.

And still , somehow , she keeps surprising us with yet another talent we didn’t know she had.
At this point, whenever Alison casually says,
“Oh, I also…”
we know something is coming. 😏

So, with a lot of love and quite a bit of pride:
7 things you probably didn’t know about our Alison.

We did.
Well… most of them. 😉

Franceska Manheimer-Rosenberg z'l (also known as Franceska Mann.)

A beautiful, 26 year-old Jewish, Polish ballerina named Franceska.

When Franceska realized she was headed to the gas chambers in Auschwitz and was ordered to undress for the "shower", she started a seductive dance to distract the guards. She then grabbed the pistol of a Nazi guard and shot him dead while wounding another. She was murdered that day - but she knew she was going to be anyway. She went down with a fight and inspired other women to do the same.

Resilience in the face of hate, evil and horror. A fighter - like all of us.

SAY HER NAME:
Franceska Manheimer-Rosenberg.

Badass. Hero. Fighter. A Jew.

May Franceska's soul be elevated and rest in peace forevermore 🕊️ by @alisonruby20
