This weekend’s big Act of Kindness for my boys and their friends were to spread joy in the form of free lemonade and jokes. The weather did not cooperate with us, but these kids handled it like champs and made a lot of people smile. They actually probably handled the disappointment better than I did at times. I just love these kids. Thank you to everyone that has donated so far, we have 2 weeks to go. by @alisonsilverson

Today our boys and their friends had the opportunity to serve others. After packing lunches and writing encouraging cards like “have a butifful life” they spread love to others in need through food.

15 years down, a lifetime to go. Still stoked on my choice. This guy is as crazy as they come but also so kind, thoughtful, hardworking, smart, and funny. And he puts up with me with ease. Love you kid! @littlemike27 by @alisonsilverson

My biggest goal for the summer was to get Rooster out of diapers and swimming. As the summer vacation has come to an end, I can happily report that we have reached some big goals. Rooster has not had an accident since June AND he can swim across the pool by himself now. Our schedule is so busy, which meant that this guy potty trained at parks, in the back of the van, basically wherever. And we couldn’t commit to a set swim lesson time so we just took him swimming any spare minute we had. But it worked. Now with this new haircut, he even looks like a big boy. This growing up stuff is so bittersweet. by @alisonsilverson

Another First Day of School in the books. Time to shift gears and prepare for it all, back to the grind, but excited for all the upcoming experiences. Turtle came home saying his teacher was way better than he expected and he “thinks she’ll be amazing!” Moose had at least one friend in every class. Littlest man starts preschool in a few months, so until then I’ll hear him complain about not being able to go to school with big brothers. by @alisonsilverson
