Local Standard, October. One local. Every month.

Ali Chamali has been cutting my hair for a bit under a year and I will not be going anywhere else. Taper and beard trim every visit, and every visit it comes out exactly how I asked.

What makes him my barber is the person, not just the clippers. He remembers your name, remembers what you talked about last time, and you leave the chair in a better mood than you sat down in.

Now he is opening his own shop. AMC Barbers, 466a Macquarie Street, South Hobart, with online bookings, a clothing drop and his own products on the way. I will be first in the chair.

Follow @alithebarber and tell him I sent you.

Know a small Hobart business worth a shout? Send me the name.
