I tried to make right with people, but, I realized that in life; you cannot make right with people….you have to make right with God. Forgive yourself second, bc Christ already did it first. ••Here’s to a new beginning.…I was baptized about 16 years ago, but if you know me; you know that I’ve made some mistakes. This isn’t to justify anything that I’ve ever said nor done, but to cleanse my soul from the pain and wrongdoings that I’ve brought about. ••No one said that baptism meant perfection. But I see it as a way to continue a journey of righteousness with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I see this baptism as a way to help my friends and foes follow Christ because they’ve seen me out bad, out sad and outright mad….but change is such a beautiful thing. ••I cannot continue to rely on satisfaction of other humans. God should be the only person who I am aiming to please and I will allow that to be a new chapter in my story. I know what was once said cannot be forgotten, but I also know that actions speak louder than any word that I’ve ever spoken. ••Proverbs 3:5-6 is a verse that I’ve shouted to the masses for over 5 years. TRUST in the Lord. LEAN NOT to thy own understanding. IN ALL WAYS acknowledgment Him…..being who I once was and only looking for validation and acceptance from Man is not where I want to be at “my big age” and on August 26, 2023, I proclaimed 2 Chronicles 7:14 to be my TRUTH. ••God Bless,ACRD 🤍 by @alithepoet_
