I would love to see a world where piercers and tattooers are treated like equals. I really hate the phrase “just a piercer”.. wdym JUST a piercer? Not to be dramatic but…Piercings save lives. For the person who can’t get tattoos or dye their hair for religious reasons, but piercings are their safe form of self expression; for the person who is recovering from s/h & gets to turn their pain into something beautiful they can see every time they face themselves in the mirror; for the person reconnecting with their ancestry who finally gets to resemble their beloved grandparent… but also for the girliepop who wants to feel more girliepop. We do it all, we listen, we exchange stories, energy, and so much love… then if the time comes when this person no longer resonates with said modification, they can just take it out. How f%cking cool is that?? My face used to change every. single. time.. I looked in the mirror growing up. Before I had my face piercings I never recognized myself to be the same person. Sure, change is good.. but not when you lack stability. Piercing changed everything for me.. and SO many others. It’s about time that’s recognized. #tattooshoplife #piercing #alt #tattooshop #bodypiercerlife taken in Rockville, Maryland by @alittlelugubrious

SLIIIMEEEEE TIMEEEE! @ the studio the other evening with some of my lovely clients & the most talented beautiful & amazing @pininkela (check her out or you’ll make me cry 👊👊👊‼️😤) — I have a slime station at the studio! I’ll almost *always* offer you some slime while I set up or at least ask if you dig slime— seeing others enjoy the different textures, giggling & kicking their feet while waiting to get poked instead of staring at their phone is all I could ever ask for. I enjoy watching yall play with slime just about as much as I enjoy playing with slime myself!!! ✨🤏🏼💕💫 ~ If I handed you some slime… would you take it?

Hot take? Idk chairs aren’t real 🤨~ also shoutout to @tinyprotectors froggy yoga mat. Without the thicc guy I wouldn’t be stretching 20x a day in peace & comfort + have a perfect little floor seat that I can literally vacuum. #hottake #tea #hardpilltoswallow #chairs #hollistic by @alittlelugubrious

I haven’t made a post in a while — so here’s a lil dump! I’ve been really happy lately. But I tend to jinx myself.. chronic pain has been between a 7-10 on average.. sooo I’m getting tatted to give my immune system something else to chew on today LOL! Anyway, I love and adore you all endlessly. Thank you so much for your support through seemingly never ending bullshit. #chronicillnessawareness #lupuswarrior #auntielife #whimsy #practicalmagic taken in Rockville, Maryland by @alittlelugubrious
