@spectrum.54 in partnership with Backstage Africa, is set to host the debut edition of “THE LISTENING ROOM”, an intimate audio-visual gathering built around simple idea: “GOOD MUSIC IS UNDERSTOOD TOGETHER”.

The initiative is designed to encourage intentional listening and deeper engagement with music, creating an environment where music enthusiasts, critics, and creatives can take their time to explore projects beyond surface.

@spectrum.54 , in collaboration with Backstage Africa, has announced the upcoming edition of “The Listening Room,” an intimate audio-visual experience built around the belief that “Good music is understood together.” The initiative is presented in strategic partnership with Priceless Music Consultancy, @theimullar , Creatizine, @alittleoperation and @halfslice.co .

In an era where new projects are released almost every weekend and public attention quickly shifts from one trend to another, The Listening Room seeks to create a counter-culture to fast-paced music consumption. The gathering provides a dedicated space for music lovers, critics, and creatives to slow down, listen intentionally, and engage deeply with musical projects both new and previously released.

The experience is intentionally designed without musical performances, keeping the focus on honest, constructive conversations. Artists can receive meaningful feedback, producers can unpack the technical and creative processes behind the music, while listeners gain the opportunity to engage in open discussions around an artist’s complete body of work.

Scheduled for August 28, 2026, at 6:30 PM, the event will take place at @vibratespace under the guiding theme, “Three Projects. One Night. Honest Conversations.” by @alittleoperation

7th June, was a time of my life, and I had some fun.

In Pursuit of Happiness has a special place in my heart, and it was a privilege to have played a role in saying goodbye to this era as we usher in a new chapter for Baaba J.

As part of the firm’s commitment to ensure creatives within the music ecosystem are equipped with the skills and knowledge of how to protect their IP and earn from it, Liando organized its first forum on World IP Day.

The event brought together key industry stakeholders and creatives on fronts within the music industry to discuss and share knowledge on IP.
