My monthly beauty maintenance 💅🏽✨

A few of the treatments I never skip on!

I love trying new treatments (probably a little too much 😂), but these are the ones that have made it into my regular rotation and I keep going back to.

Some monthly, some every few months, but all part of the maintenance ✨

Nails - I like simple short, so it’s always some variation of french tip / neutral and biab with a russian manicure. I go to @ndao.coventgarden and @ndao_battersea

Facials- this is where allllllllll my money goes to. I love skin treatments, my main focus is prevent acne breakouts ( which I’m prone to) resurfacing, tightening and boosting collagen.

My favourites are: Obagi Blue Radiance Peels - great for resurfacing of the skin, unclogging pores + hyperpigmentation ( around £150)

Microneedling - great for promoting more collagen and helping with overall skin texture, skin tone and hyperpigmentation and great to add exosomes to the treatment if your clinic offers it! ( around £220)

Picosure laser - I had 4 sessions of those last winter, which were great for clearing some of my stubborn pigmentation and improving uneven skin tone and overall brightening of the skin ( around £450 per session)

Hydrofacials - great for unclogging skin, especially in summer when it’s hot and you’re applying lots of SPF, it’s easy for skin tone become congested. Also great in winter when cold dry weather can make skin dry, which can damage your skin barrier. So basically great all year round 🫶🏽

@invisalign absolute game changer!! I hated how my teeth looked, and I haven’t finished yet, but I know this is TOTALLY worth it. I found it painful the first 2 weeks, but after that, you barely think about it.

Brows - they basically frame your face, I get mine done every 3-4 weeks, I’m not too fussy with the technique because I haven’t ever changed the shape of them, so I either get them threaded or waxed and always tinted, I generally go to @blinkbrowbar

Laser hair removal - love it! Everyone is different, so some may need more sessions than others, but i generally found after about 7/8 treatments in one area, th taken in London, United Kingdom by @aliyahplummer

soho house has been a home for creatives for thirty years. but a members club is only ever as good as the people inside it, and somebody has to choose them.

the invisible architects: aliyah plummer, head of membership at @sohohouse.

i asked her when she realised hospitality was actually a way into culture. she said lose that connection to culture and community and a club very quickly becomes just a nice space, and ultimately feels out of touch. her full answer is in the video <3
and she means it. @miarose_mcgrath on investing. @symeonrbrown on how black britain became middle class. black and connected for the black members. iftar at shoreditch house during ramadan. she had a huge hand in all of it.

that’s how a legacy institution stays current. not a campaign about it, a programme. somebody deciding every single month that the room should sound like the city it’s sitting in.
