Last night’s Drink & Doodle piece for @abvgallery & @outerspaceproject.

You know where to look to bid (the scan from last night doesn’t accurately represent the colors, but these photos do). Bidding goes until 8pm EST tonight (Thursday the 1st of October).

I used @prismacolor pencils and @ldbastudio watercolors on @uglybooksofficial paper!

I took copious amounts of footage for this piece, so here’s a little process reel for my 2026 Forward Warrior piece!

I had so much fun with this piece and I can’t stop staring at her now.

AND SHE IS DONE! 💗✨

My piece for Forward Warrior 2026. I couldn’t be happier with her. Thank you so much to family and friends who visited me throughout the process and who took sweet photos and videos. I’m sure I’ll have another post and definitely a reel coming up. Priority right now though is to sleep 10 hours.

If you took photos of me/my piece (or if you do in the future), please feel free to send them to me! I’d love to see ‘em.

Some great photos from @sanithna on Saturday at Forward Warrior.

Didn’t finish my wall this weekend and taking today to rest from all the heat and climbing and painting and mixing and repainting. She’ll be done this week though! taken in Forward, Warrior!! Mural Project by @aliyailsa

All righty folks. I’ve decided to go ahead and share so here’s the sketch for this year of Forward Warrior (this coming weekend)! Very excited to be shifting gears a bit this time. It’s gonna be a great time with more great artists than any year prior and I’m thrilled to see what everyone else is gonna paint.

Swipe to see my piece in 2024 and then to see all of my years on the wall.

A year and some change ago, one of my dearest friends in the world, KB, married her sweetheart, Tom, and I was lucky enough to be the person they trusted to capture the day. I only just realized I never posted photos from this perfect, intimate occasion on my feed and that needed to be remedied because look at these beauties. I never get tired of looking back at their giddiness and love for one another, so y’all should be able to gush over it too.

Another post so quickly, but I wanted to share some great photos of “The Gone and the Going” from ABV Gallery and a few shots at the show, Locals Only, last night, including a few pieces from friends. I didn’t get shots of all the pieces I loved but here’s what I managed to grab!

This is one of my favorite pieces I’ve done and I was grateful to receive such sweet words for it last night.

“The Gone and the Going”

And here’s my full piece for ABV’s show in partnership with Fernbank, Locals Only (opened tonight). This show is for Atlanta-based artists to represent a local (to Atlanta or Georgia as a whole) theme. So of course I chose wildlife.

This piece shows a Mother Nature of sorts as a safe haven for two extinct Georgia native birds (the Bachman’s warbler and the Ivory-billed woodpecker) and she sits lamenting the potential too-soon homecoming of one near-threatened and one threatened species (the Golden-winged warbler and the Red-cockaded woodpecker, respectively).

Any chance to draw animals and talk about the importance of wildlife preservation, I’m gonna take.

Everyone’s piece was wonderful and I hope y’all can make it out while the show is up!

A little sneak peek of my piece for Locals Only, a show opening at ABV Gallery on 11 July at 6pm in partnership with Fernbank.

Come see a ton of great new work by Atlanta-based artists who focused on Atlanta- or Georgia-specific subjects!

Had a week of insomnia and stress and to try to relax, I played a little with my new @uglybooksofficial using @prismacolor pencils and @ldbastudio watercolors. And I’m pretty in love with these two pages.

Not an ad/not sponsored, but love all these materials and would not say no to future collaboration.

Now I might sleep for a year (jk I have a million things to do but please enjoy my pretty babies).

Hope you’re all having a lovely week 💗 by @aliyailsa
