POSTS STORIES REELS

As an over-achieving perfectionist, I sometimes find it extremely hard to “Just Do It”.

I have to overthink, plan, execute, analyze, pick apart, throw away, and then MAYBE revisit the whole idea again once I know I can achieve perfection.

The whole process is extremely draining and honestly quite discouraging.

Although I had ZERO intentions on posting this and have been sitting on these videos (amongst several other videos and pictures for a week now 🫢), I posted it, and for that I’m proud of myself 🥹

I haven’t yet figured out how to break this cycle, but here’s to embracing the imperfect journey! 🥂✨

Like, Share, and Comment and show me some love and share some encouraging words. 💕

This picture was taken earlier this year in April when I blow dried my hair in preparation to flat iron it straight (my first time since being natural, 4 years now). Needless to say, that was an epic fail because my hair pretty much looked like this less than 24 hours after me straightening it 😭 Humidity would not let ya girl be great.

I give all credit for the health, length and thickness of my hair to @luxmane_ , so me basically 😂. She is me and I am she 💁🏾‍♀️. Using @luxmane_ as apart of your healthy hair journey is like inviting me into your home, so go get you some & don’t be surprised when I show up at your doorstep, cus your hair is about to be lit 🤪🤣 Link in Bio ✨

Anyways y’all let me know of any Miami based hairstylists that will give me a 🔥 silk press & trim that’ll last at least 24 hours 🤣 please that’s all I’m asking 🥺
