Thankfully, severe drought conditions have begun to ease in our area. However, the shift to heavier rainfall can bring new challenges for your trees. ☀️⛈️

After prolonged heat and drought, soil can become compacted — reducing airflow and limiting oxygen in the root zone. Without enough oxygen, roots can struggle to function properly, affecting a tree’s ability to absorb water and nutrients. Poor drainage and decreased absorption can also happen, often showing up as pooling water, soggy soil, or visible stress.

This week, Crew Lead and Certified Arborist Trenton Wells coached one of our newest team members through a silver maple removal with a house and landscaped flower beds directly in the work zone. The goal? Safely remove the tree while protecting the customer's property every step of the way.
