I found this picture of the day I threw out my New Age books (and other items, crystals, statues, tarot cards etc...) God opened my eyes literally from one day to the next. I never in a million years thought I would be a Christian. I thought Christianity was outdated, violent, and spiritually un-evolved.

I was in a dark, dark place before God opened my eyes... I was searching everywhere for this unattainable peace. Reading horoscopes. Spending so much money on healers. Visiting shamans. Buying crystals; and the next new “self help” book, therapy, yoga, guided meditations, crystal healings. I trained in Reiki. I had my “entities removed”. I did past life regressions. I would sometimes call three psychics in one night. I was lonely. And lost. I craved comfort and the little doses of sugary hope of these psychics’ words. It. Never. Satisfied. I probably spent £10,000 on psychics in a few years... 😱

The darkness continued to spiral. I thought it must be my diet. Or my trauma. Or my past life experiences... I started following #medicalmedium and drinking tonnes of celery juice and eating raw kale. I started praying to the strange “ancient and forgotten angels” he encourages people to pray to in his book. (Isn’t it amazing how easily people will believe in and pray to angels, but don’t want anything to do with the God who created angels?).

I felt weepy, suicidal, alone, desperate, and in so much pain I physically ached. I felt high anxiety all the time. My health was getting worse too.

And on top of that, I started to feel “haunted” in my home. In some of the “psychic healing” sessions I had been desperately doing - I remember the woman had said to me “there are light beings that want to come and work on you in between our sessions... but they need your permission to be invited into your home”. Of course I couldn’t say yes quick enough! Angels, light beings, healing...! Bring it on!

At night I began to feel a strange presence standing over my bed. And I would “see” - not physically, but spiritually somehow... these swooping, awful beings, with wings and faces that looked almost beast-like. I had never ever seen anything like it.

I stumbled upon this page @medicalmediumsurvivors and I wanted to address something… because there is something that goes much deeper than the discussion about whether or not Antony Williams, the “Medical Medium” gives good or bad health advice, and that is the spiritual source of his information…

I used to follow Antony Williams. Back then I tried everything to feel better - I was deeply struggling both mentally and physically. But the more I went down the rabbit hole of healing, the more I found myself feeling sicker and more desperate. Then one day, Jesus opened my eyes… He showed me what the Bible said about mediumship and why it was dangerous. The Bible says that psychics and mediums are actually communicating with demons. From the slides above, can you not see how this “Spirit of Compassion” is not of God?

Here are some verses that shook me to my core. I really hope those reading this will see that, there is a reason Antony’s advice is causing so much harm, and that’s because the spiritual reality is so dangerous.

“And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness.” 2 Corinthians 11:14-15

“Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord.” Deuteronomy 18:20-12

An eternity blessed with every good thing and at home with our God: The God of peace, justice, holiness, wisdom, intelligence, might, gentleness and LOVE.

It’s beyond comprehension.

I was born into a very wealthy family... I can attest to the fact that NONE of it is worth the peace and safety of knowing Jesus and knowing His eternal salvation.

“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?” ~ Mark 8:36-37

No comfort, no pleasure, no relationship, no job, no success, no amount of money or other material goods are worth your very Life.

Let it all go if needs be. In exchange for the safety and sanctuary of knowing God and being loved by Him forever.

Despite the novelty for modern westerners, crystal work is a variation upon the old occult belief that gems, stones, rocks, amulets, talismans, and minerals contain great power which can be magically directed for various uses, such as psychic abilities, astral projection, spirit contact, and channeling. It is viewed as a technique for manipulating mystical energies.
Crystal work is found in shamanism and Eastern religions.
Because spirits were believed to indwell in such stones, healing and other magical properties were assigned to them.

Posted @withregram • @doreenvirtue The new age has been called a “spiritual buffet” because it borrows from different cultures and religions. New agers believe that you can choose what you like from these different religions, and make your own unique blend of spirituality.

When I was in the New Age, my home was filled with statues from Buddhist, Tibetan Buddhist, Hinduism, and Catholicism, as well as angel statues. I would pray to these statues, to ask for favor.

Reading the Bible was a huge wake up call for me! I got rid of all of my statues and paintings, including images of Jesus. We don’t know what Jesus looked like, so any image of Jesus would be a false image, no matter how well-intentioned.

I apologize and repent that I had Jesus images in my New Age cards, and a self-published book that I made a couple of years ago.

I also apologize that I put images of angels on cards and book covers. Nobody knows what an angel looks like. The biblical descriptions of angels are very different from New Age statues and book covers.

This passage in Psalm 135 is a summary of what many of the biblical prophets said in the Old Testament: Statues cannot see or hear. Prayers to statues are not answered, because statues cannot see or hear.

Praying to or venerating statues violates the first and second commandments that we are to have no gods before God, nor make graven images.
