I crave this meal soooo often so I finally, FINALLY attempted a recreation. Flavors were there, missing some of the textures but that's cause I had to leave out the hikiji. @babellies you promised to share the recipe...but I did my best. ❤️❤️ by @all_janee

Sitting here leftovers in hand I'm thinking...I would make a really good housewife. Shame that's not meant to be. Hope you had a happy Thanksgiving. Thinking of our indigenous brothers and sisters, the oppressed folks, our war torn neighbors and hoping for peace and salvation for all...which is cringe AF but how can you be thankful without acknowledging the bad - past and present? So thankful for my family that has rallied around me this year, thankful for my step dad and the heart transplant that allowed me to see him this Thanksgiving, grateful to be the same old me that's a little bit petty, but the same chick who cries over open faced turkey sandwiches. Joyous that even with distance I spent the holiday with my favorite people. Debating over decorating or packing for Christmas but thankful I have the choice. Just...thankful. Happy holidays peeps. (Also if you're interested in a domestic goddess who can but won't cook like this on a daily, hit me up 😉) by @all_janee

I'm an increasingly private person as I'm sure many of you have noticed...but my family has been dealing with some heavy stuff, and right now is when you lean on community. My stepfather had a heart transplant recently, and my family is in need of some financial assistance. If you're willing/able, please take a look at our story and help where you can.
