The ‘Pullman 5’ were stood down overnight. Season over. Finals gone. Names everywhere.

No charges.

Now the Swans want the same players back they couldn’t dump fast enough when a premiership was on the line.

Standards when the cameras are on. Contracts when they aren’t. #allthingsafl by @all_things_afl26

Having three first round picks on the table 12 months ago, rejecting them, then accepting one first rounder and two second rounders is a masterclass in poor list management. Calling that a good deal now is laughable.

The greatest club of the modern era.

It’s now official - with six premierships in 30 seasons, the Brisbane Lions are the most successful side since the VFL became the AFL.

And almost 100 years later, could they become the second team ever to win FOUR flags in a row?

They say they’re not satisfied with just three #allthingsafl by @all_things_afl26

Will Ashcroft’s 4th quarter ⬇️

12 disposals
6 contested possessions
4 clearances
3 score involvements
3 inside 50’s
2 goal assists

Very unlucky Norm Smith 🏅 votes are handed in early!!

He finished the game with:

31 disposals
9 clearances
7 score involvements
5 inside 50’s
3 goals assists

Incredible to think he’s only 22 years old and played just 85 games. What a player! ⭐️

Grand final day is usually my favourite day of the year. It’s tomorrow, and somehow it doesn’t even feel like it.

Has there been much talk about Fremantle and Brisbane actually playing? All I seem to hear about is Lachie Neale’s suspension being overturned, the umpiring, the rules and AFL House.

Maybe having two interstate clubs in it has changed the feeling around Melbourne. Both clubs have earned their spot, but the build up feels flat to me.

I’ll still be watching tomorrow. I just wish it felt like grand final week. #allthingsafl by @all_things_afl26

He is by far the best player in the AFL .
But no player should be getting 47 votes.
If Ablett jnr never got anywhere near that in his prime .
N daicos will win another 2 brownlows before his career is over #afl #aflnews #pies #collingwood #allthingsafl by @all_things_afl26
