2026 is saying goodbye to Sunset Place 🌅 as we know it.♡ Send this to someone you’re taking to Sunset Place before it’s gone 🫶Before it became The Shops at Sunset Place, this spot was the Bakery Centre in the ‘80s, then in 1999 it reopened as a bold, colorful open-air mall built around one of the largest movie theaters in the U.S. at the time 🎬 It was designed to be South Miami’s entertainment hub… but over the years, stores kept cycling out, and the energy slowly faded. And yet, some parts are still so alive. The movie theater and arcade are often packed, and it’s home to my favorite Barnes & Noble in all of Florida 📚Hope you get to enjoy this hidden gem while it’s still here. 💎Now it’s officially on its way out – set to be demolished and replaced with a massive mixed-use project (think residences, hotel, offices… a whole new mini city). Same location, completely different story. Can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings ✨Sunset Drive, South Miami, Florida➣📌 Follow along for travel finds and must-visits in Florida and around the world, and let’s explore places together ♡Things to do in Miami. That’s what this evening felt like… ➣ Send this to someone you’d spend a slow summer evening in Sardinia with ✈️Some places don’t need an itinerary, just enough time to wander ✨One of my favorite parts of traveling in Italy is that the day doesn’t end after the beach. 🏖️ You spend the afternoon swimming in turquoise water, then sit down for an incredible dinner, and somehow there’s still time to wander charming streets with a gelato in hand. 🍨💡Travel tip: Don’t rush back to your hotel after dinner. Some of the most magical moments happen once the streets begin to glow, locals take their evening walks, and every corner feels like a scene from Italian cinema.Would you end your perfect day with a late-night gelato or an aperitivo instead? 🍨🍹➣📌 Follow along for travel finds and must-visits from around the world, and let’s explore places together ♡US Travel Blogger. 🌺 Every corner looks like a postcard ➣ Send this to someone you’d want on the next flight there with you ✈️ 🤩 My favorite fact about Sardinia: Despite being one of the largest islands in the Mediterranean, much of Sardinia remains wonderfully untouched.💡Travel Tip: Rent a car if you can. The most beautiful beaches, viewpoints, and little villages are often easiest to reach by road.🌸 Have you ever visited a place that looked even better than the photos?➣📌 Follow along for travel finds and must-visits from around the world, and let’s explore places together ♡US Travel Blogger. No filter. Still feels unreal!.. 🤍 ➣ Send this to someone who’d be in the water before you even finished parking 💦Before traveling to Sardinia, I always thought photos of its beaches were all heavily photoshopped. Turns out it’s even MORE beautiful, and the photos don’t do it justice. The water is so clear that boats look like they’re floating on air! 🛥️💡 Pro Travel Tip: Visit in June or September for warm swimming weather, fewer crowds, and some of the clearest water you’ll see all year.My personal favorite is July & August, but keep in mind that the peak of Italian summer holidays means packed beaches, higher hotel prices, and heavy coastal traffic. 🏖️𖡡 Cala Brandinchi, SardegnaAre you diving straight in or admiring it first? ✨➣📌 Follow along for travel finds and must-visits from around the world, and let’s explore places together ♡US Travel Blogger. Lights. Camera. Shanghai ✨🌆✨ ➣ Share this with someone who likes dinner with a view 🥂Shanghai’s fine dining scene is just as impressive as its skyline. ⭐ There are 156 MICHELIN Guide restaurants in Shanghai, and 51 of them have earned Michelin stars. We enjoyed this one so much, and our table came with the best view. I’ll definitely share more about our visit later. 💡 Pro Travel Tip: For the best skyline views, plan an evening around golden hour and stay until after dark. The city feels completely different once it’s illuminated 🌃 (My camera roll would agree.)𖡡 Mercato | Waitan, Huangpu, ShanghaiWhat city skyline will you never get tired of seeing?➣📌 Follow along for travel finds and must-visits from around the world, and let’s explore places together ♡US Travel Blogger. A museum full of pearls 🦪✨ ➣ Share this with someone who loves unexpected travel finds like this 💎Did you know Ancient Chinese legends believed pearls were created by dragons and represented power and protection?Tucked away on Nanjing Road, the Shanghai Pearl Culture Museum is a surprisingly fascinating stop where you can learn how pearls are formed, see the different types up close, and watch the journey from oyster to jewelry. 🤓 Interesting Fact: China is the world’s largest producer of freshwater pearls, supplying the vast majority of them worldwide, so there’s no better place to learn about the history, artistry, and culture behind them.💡Pro Travel Tip: You can pick up inexpensive single pearls here or basic pearl jewelry (around $3-$10 USD) or explore designer pieces and accessories, without requiring a reservation or admission fee.Is this the kind of place you’d want to explore?➣📌 Follow along for travel finds and must-visits from around the world, and let’s explore places together ♡US Travel Blogger. Wait… is that a pastry boutique? ➣ Share this with someone who believes food is a better souvenir than a fridge magnet 🎁🤷🏼‍♀️🦋 Interesting Fact: This flaky treat is known as a palmier in France, a palmera across much of Latin America, and in some countries it’s simply called “elephant ears” because of its distinctive shape. In Shanghai, butterfly pastries (蝴蝶酥) have become one of the city’s most iconic sweet souvenirs.💡 Pro Travel Tip: This one make a unique edible souvenir. If you’re planning to bring pastries home, save this stop for last. The delicate treats stay fresher and are less likely to get crushed while you’re exploring. What’s the one snack you’d fly back for?➣📌 Follow along for travel finds and must-visits from around the world, and let’s explore places together ♡US Travel Blogger. Now to the magical side of Shanghai ➣ Send this to someone who always wanders off the main tourist path 🗺️Tucked among the busy streets near Old Street and Yu Garden, this charming alley caught my eye with its traditional balconies, hanging decorations, and old-world details. For a moment, it felt worlds away from the modern Shanghai 🪭Fun fact: Long before Shanghai became famous for its skyscrapers, this area was one of the city’s busiest commercial districts, filled with merchants, tea houses, and local shops. 🎎🫖💡 Pro travel tip: When exploring popular spots like this, don’t rush from one attraction to the next. Take your eyes off your phone for a moment and look around. Some of the most memorable spots are the streets and hidden corners in between ✨Does this look like what you imagined Shanghai would be like?➣📌 Follow along for travel finds and must-visits from around the world, and let’s explore places together ♡US Travel Blogger. Wait… a PEZ flagship store?! 🍬 In Shanghai?!➣ Share this with the friend who’d say “we have to go in!” 😂And not hidden away on some side street either, but right on Nanjing Road, Shanghai’s famous pedestrian shopping street in the city center, surrounded by giant stores and some of the busiest foot traffic. 🛍️Fun fact: PEZ was invented in Austria in 1927. And the name comes from the German word for peppermint, “PfeffErminZ.” 🍭Travel is funny like that. You cross the world expecting futuristic skylines and ancient temples... and somehow end up face-to-face with a piece of childhood nostalgia. ✨What’s your favorite unexpected or most random travel find?📍 100 Nanjing East Road | Shanghai, China(5 min walk from The Bund)➣📌 Follow along for travel finds and must-visits from around the world, and let’s explore places together ♡US Travel Blogger. 🚇 Not every city makes you want to film your subway ride, but Shanghai definitely does 👌➣ Share this with someone who loves discovering cities like a local 🗺️Here even taking the metro feels like part of the adventure. 🚆 With hundreds of stations across the city, Shanghai’s metro is the 2nd largest subway system in the world, aaand it’s the easiest way to get around as a visitor. 🏆 It makes it super easy to explore everything from futuristic skyscrapers to hidden local neighborhoods without ever needing a car.💡 A quick tip: download Alipay before your trip. Having breakfast with a view 🤩 after a long flight, a good night’s sleep, and waking up in vacation mode☀️☕️➣ Send this to someone who appreciates a room with a view ✨The coffee tastes so much better, the cake tastes sweeter (and calories don’t even count 🤫), and all those hours in transit feel worth it. Fun fact: Shanghai’s skyline is one of the most recognizable in the world 🌇 The city has more than 4,000 skyscrapers, making it one of the largest collections of high-rise buildings anywhere on Earth. (And one of my favorite skylines!)✈️ Pro travel tip from me: on your first morning in a new destination, try waking up a little earlier than usual. You’ll often catch the city at its calmest, enjoy better views, and start the day before the crowds arrive. What’s your dream breakfast view: city skyline, mountains, ocean, or countryside? 🌊🌳🏞️➣📌 Follow along for travel finds and must-visits from around the world, and let’s explore places together ♡US Travel Blogger. How to time travel in Shanghai? Get lost in it ➣ Share this with someone who would happily get lost here for hours ⏱️What I loved most about Old Shanghai wasn’t any single building or landmark — it was how quickly the city changed. 🫰✨ One moment you’re surrounded by modern skyscrapers, and a few steps later you’re wandering past lanterns, carved wooden details, and traditional architecture that feels worlds away from the skyline.⛩️ Interesting fact: Many of the traditional-style streets around Shanghai’s Old City trace their roots back hundreds of years, to a time when this area was protected by city walls long before Shanghai became the global metropolis we know today.💡 Pro travel tip: Most visitors stick to the main streets near the famous attractions. Take a few extra turns into the smaller side lanes instead. That’s where you’ll often find the quiet courtyards, local shops, and photo spots that feel much more authentic and far less crowded. You get one afternoon here.
