POSTS STORIES REELS

Lately, I’ve realized how easy it is to blink and suddenly months have disappeared.Somewhere between March and June, time slipped through the cracks.

I’ve been reflecting a lot lately. Looking at where I am in life, where I thought I’d be by now, and realizing that none of it looks the way I imagined. There’s been this emptiness inside me, a longing for something I can’t quite put into words.

These past few months have challenged me in ways I wasn’t expecting. They’ve forced me to sit with myself instead of constantly looking for the next distraction. To be still, to reflect, to listen.

I’ve caught myself looking in the mirror asking, “Who are you? Where did you go?” The truth is, I don’t know if I was ever given the chance to become that person.
I’ve spent so much of my life hiding that I don’t know if I’ve ever truly known the person underneath it all.

As a child, hiding became survival. Every rejection, every hurt, every betrayal, every moment I felt like I wasn’t enough taught me to build another layer of protection around myself. Those layers didn’t stay in my childhood. They grew with me into adulthood, quietly shaping the way I saw myself, the way I loved, the way I trusted, and the way I moved through the world.

Over time, those walls became so familiar that I mistook them for who I was, when really they were just the armor I’d been carrying for so long.

Now they’re beginning to crack.

Old memories are resurfacing. Emotions I buried are asking to be felt instead of ignored. It’s uncomfortable. It’s messy. Some days it feels like I’m meeting myself for the very first time.

Maybe this isn’t about finding my way back.
Maybe it’s about meeting the version of myself that never got the chance to exist.

The one who wasn’t shaped by fear.
The one who didn’t have to earn love.
The one who didn’t have to hide just to survive.

I don’t have everything figured out. There are still days I don’t know where I’m going. But for the first time in a long time, I’m choosing to stop running from myself and start listening.

I blinked, and February was gone, but somehow it held so much.

It wasn’t about rushing forward, it was about pausing long enough actually to feel where I am.

Stopping to smell the flowers, watching the sky change colors like it had something to say. Ocean air, tide pools, tiny worlds beneath the surface making quiet friends with hermit crabs, and moments that don’t ask to be captured, just lived.

There were naps in the middle of the day, pup cup dates, random dance parties that turned into laughter I couldn’t recreate if I tried.

Joy, unplanned memories, the kind you don’t schedule, but somehow become the ones that stay.

February reminded me that life isn’t just built in big moves it’s in the in between, in slowing down, in noticing.

I’m still building stamina but now I’m learning how to rest inside it.

Grateful for the moments I didn’t rush past.
For the laughter, the adventure, the small magic.
For memories I can’t replace.

Happy birthday to my main squeeze, my heart, my love… my big bean!

Daughter I knew the moment I met you that we were meant to find each other in this lifetime. Through every chapter, every version of me, every high and every low, you’ve been right there.

You’ve seen my growth, held me in my hardest moments, and shared in so many beautiful ones. You’ve taught me more than you’ll ever know.

You still have the biggest attitude (Aries energy all the way), but that’s part of what makes you you.

You’re my familiar, my protector, my little soul companion. I truly believe you came into my life for a reason, to watch over me, to ground me, to love me in your own way. I'm forever grateful we found each other

Thank you for being here.
Thank you for loving me.
Thank you for keeping me in check and thank you for letting me squeeze you, even when you hate it.

I love you forever! Happy 10th birthday!

January wasn’t loud. It was grounding.
It looked like mist over the water.
Like rain on city streets.
Like learning the rhythm of a new skyline.

I ran into the year instead of chasing it.
Feet on pavement. Breath steady.
Choosing strength over urgency.

San Francisco isn’t just a place I moved to. It’s becoming a mirror of resilience, of depth, of reinvention.

There were gray days and sudden rainbows. Cold mornings by the lake, ocean air reminding me that expansion requires space.

I’m not trying to figure everything out this year. I’m building stamina.
Physically, Emotionally,Spiritually.

January taught me that beginnings don’t need fireworks. Sometimes they look like showing up. Like finishing the race, like walking into the fog and trusting the view will reveal itself.

Grateful for the quiet strength.
For movement that feels aligned.
For a city that already feels like it’s shaping me into something new.

December felt like a soft landing.
Coming home to myself after time away.
Less striving, more presence.

December wasn’t about doing, it was about being.
Laughing, wandering, letting love take shape in unexpected ways. Building a tiny family from courage, trust, and saying yes when it felt vulnerable.

I’m learning that peace doesn’t arrive with answers.
It arrives when you stop forcing the next chapter
and let life meet you where you stand.

Grateful for the moments that didn’t need explaining.
For the people who made space feel like home.
For the reminder that it’s enough to just be here.

Last night reminded me how creativity moves in ways that don’t need explaining. Cirque du Soleil - Echo is more than a performance, its imagination made visible. A world built from light, sound, story, and bodies in motion. I left inspired, reminded that magic still exists when people dare to dream out loud.

San Francisco, I love you already.

There’s something in the light, the ocean air, and the energy of these streets that feels like it’s welcoming me in, like I’ve finally landed where I’m meant to be.

Everything here feels fresh, alive, and full of possibility. Every turn and every street has something new to offer. I can’t wait to explore more and experience everything this city is opening up for me.

Here’s to joy, expansion, and new beginnings!

A new chapter is unfolding, not from something new, but from something ancient within me.
This path isn’t something that whispered to me from afar, it’s something my soul chose long before I arrived here. A calling I’ve been moving toward my entire life, often without even realizing it. A remembering written into my bones.

For years I have walked with the medicine in silence shedding, awakening, and unraveling the stories that once kept my spirit dim. These last two months in the Amazon did not begin my journey, they opened a doorway. A threshold, a deepening, a return to who I came here to be.

Now the call is louder than ever.
A calling I can no longer ignore.
It is time to step fully into my power, my purpose, and the wisdom rising inside me.

For those who have been following my journey.
I’ve created a new home for the deeper layers of my path, a space devoted to my shamanic studies, plant medicine, and the spiritual teachings shaping me in the Amazon.

@theanahatashaman

A place for plant-medicine wisdom, energy alchemy, shadow work, ritual, intuitive teachings, and the unseen currents guiding my unfolding as student, healer, and bridge between worlds.

A space where I’ll be sharing the deeper transmissions, visuals, and experiences I don’t post elsewhere a space to learn, heal, and grow together.

If your soul feels the pull, if something stirs in your chest as you read this. I invite you to walk this journey with me.

Carrying the Jungle Home

There’s a moment when the plane lifts above the Amazon and you realize.
You’re leaving the jungle, but the jungle isn’t leaving you.

The rivers still move through your memory like serpents of light.
The green still breathes inside your chest.
The path you walked muddy, silent, alive becomes a path you carry now within.

Two months in the Amazon changes the way you see everything.
It teaches you that healing isn’t a single moment
it’s a thousand quiet steps, a thousand small openings,
a thousand ways the Earth teaches you to listen again.

As I rise back into the sky, I feel the medicine still working, the icaros still echoing, and the lessons still unfolding long after the last ceremony ends.

Peru you didn’t just hold me.
You transformed me and I’m bringing every piece of that transformation home.

Butterfly medicine has been coming into my field a lot lately.Through meditation, quiet whispers, and soft little hellos in the garden.
Each visit feels like a sacred reminder.
That transformation isn’t loud. It’s subtle.
That change doesn’t rush. It unfolds.
That my wings are already here
and now, I rise with them.

Once again,
As I gain new wings in another spiritual metamorphosis,
She reminds me:

You are becoming.
