In the end, it all comes down to a play of light and shadow. Where lines come together. Where nature takes over. The windows are mere frames trying to bring the outside in and vice versa. They are the eyes to the face of the house, and the gateway to the soul of the surroundings. Crazy how a well designed house can get you all lyrical and philosophical. Another job well done by Element Architects. #proportion #light #shadow #architecture #philosophy #engineering #producing #installing #aluminium #steel #glass ✍🏻 @elementarchitecten by @allaertaluminium
Join us on 3 Days of Design in Copenhagen, Denmark. We will be participating in Design Dialogues, an initiative by our friends of ARK Journal, bringing together some fantastic brands, designers, fabricators and specialists. It’s an honour to be able to present unseen work by belgian artist Bram Vanderbeke. Who would’ve thought working with aluminium, glass and steel would take us all the way to the nordics? Come over and join the fun! Pakhus 11, Dampfaergevej 2, Copenhagen. @arkjournal @bramvanderbeke @ottostumm_mogs @otiima_muchmorethanawindow @3daysofdesign @weare_fest #designdialogues #architecture #objectdesign #material #fabric #light #proportion #artwork by @allaertaluminium
Old industrial sites carry a heavy past. Their facades have as much expression as the face of an old warrior. Therefore it is a sign of respect to transfer this character into a new future by giving these buildings a new destiny. In this specific case, the old drying warehouses for new made clay roof tiles and bricks of les Tuileries du Littoral in Kortrijk, was restored by Bart Lens, and given the function of offices for the company Wienerberger. It has become the perfect sweet balance between strong elements of the past and the invigorating vibe of the times ahead. #restoration #brick #architecture #industrial #industry #glass #engineering #producing #installing #aluminium #reynaers #reynaersaluminium #repetition #wienerberger 📷 @tvdvphotography ✍🏻 @lensassarchitecten by @allaertaluminium
As a company, Konvert is clearly putting people in the center of attention. Trying to get the best out of every candidate for every job, and fulfilling their hunger for a new challenge. Being progressive and customer intimate has lead to the development of new main offices in close cooperation with Bureau Goddeeris Architecten and Allaert Aluminium. If you’re a car fanatic with a weak spot for architecture, than building this kind of car storage may well be your cup of tea. A mix of bronze, wood and steel designed by Maister. Engineered trapezoidal windows by the A-team of Allaert Aluminium. Cars by the Germans, obviously. #architecture #passion #carlovers #photography #carchitecture #proportion #engineering #producing #installing #glass #steel #aluminium #porsche #mercedes ✍🏻 @maister.be 📸 @cafeine by @allaertaluminium
Summer. What better time to have a splash and taste the joys of good proportions and materiality. This rather architectural private spa confronts the green surroundings with some unorthodox lines. Red concrete, and red profile systems. We love it. #rockandrollhurricane #architecture #lines #concrete #aluminium #glass #otiima #engineering #producing #installing #photography #contrast ✍🏻 @nwlnd_architects 📸 @johnnyumans by @allaertaluminium
Embrace the powers of nature. Wind and light, heat and cold. Smappee moved to new offices that are a culmination of ecologic use and reuse of natural energy. Powerfull architecture by Govaert and Vanhoutte Architects underlines the belief in a strong future. #smappee #energy #ict #future #architectural #architecture #progressive #technology #aluminium #glass #engineering #producing #installing 📸 @tvdvphotography ✍🏻 @govaertvanhoutte by @allaertaluminium
Aluminium is often associated to modern and progressive architecture. Though it can be used for subtle and respectfull restaurations as well. In this specific case, we brought natural light into a 19th century warehouse, becoming a furniture store. #aluminium #glass #steel #brick #brickandmortar #facade #engineering #producing #installing 📸 @tvdvphotography by @allaertaluminium
