Swipe to the end to see where I started a year ago, a few months after having my 6th baby.

I don’t post myself to show off, I post myself because I know what it’s like to avoid looking in the mirror for whole years at a time.

It wasn’t just the weight — I was able to give myself grace for the fact that I had two babies in two years. Beyond the weight, I didn’t recognize myself anymore. I’d completely lost myself, my confidence, and felt out of my body. For a long time I avoided eye contact because I felt the pain in my eyes exposed all I was hiding.

I genuinely didn’t think it was possible to reclaim myself and emerge from everything I’ve been through whole in mind, body and spirit after feeling so fragmented for so long.

I love to keep me to myself. I’m someone who is perfectly happy never posting at all, but I’m called to share my journey, including where I started (again, bc I’ve had to restart many times) in hopes that someone feeling lost inside a life that centers everyone & everything else but you feels inspired that it’s never too late to reclaim yourself.
