Finally an opportunity to have a can of @schmaltzbrew in the wild! Well one that’s not in our own bar @atombarhull!

Been brilliant working with @henrybeercock and his proper boss Lauren over the past year to bring this to life.

It’s banging …. GO BUY IT!!

Awesome 2 weeks dash around The Netherlands / Belgium / Germany / France

Bit different than planned due to the hot weather, some amazing campsites, brilliant food and met many lovely people on the way.

Only one broken mishap in just over 1150 km … that ain’t bad.

Now it’s time on the ferry back.

Day 9 - Cycling for Breath Challenge

The challenge is complete

508 miles + 32,220 ft of elevation Biking (Everest = 29,037 ft)

51.75 miles + 17,641 ft of elevation Walking

It has been one hell of a journey, definitely the hardest physical challenge we have both put ourselves through but nothing in comparison to what people have to go through with Pulmonary Fibrosis.

Thank you for all the kind words, donations and taking the time to learn more about Pulmonary Fibrosis.

We hope this challenge has shone a light on Pulmonary Fibrosis. From a personal perspective seeing your loved one with it and the battle they go through is heartbreaking, anything that can be done to help no matter how small makes the world of difference.

Day 9 - Finished! 508 miles of cycling, 51.75 miles of walking and total ascent for all activities of about 50,000 feet. We have had snow, ice, fog, and -5 temperatures on the top of Ben Nevis in Scotland, to sun and +26 on the top of Scarfell in the Lakes. Thunder and lightning on the morning of our Yorkshire 3 peaks loop and about 400miles of headwind (no tailwind to speak of in the other 100 - just side wind or still). Day 7 - Three Peaks to the Wirral. Sad start to the day - saying goodbye to Mum and Dad, our amazing support crew during the past week. They need to go on holiday - so we loaded up the bikes with panniers, walking bags etc.. and set off on our own for the final few days. Started out with lovely back roads (and lovely cows on the road), but then hit the crazy roads of Preston to Liverpool. Very busy roads and few cycle lanes which unfortunately were full of glass or parked cars. Eventually hit the ferry across the Mersey for some stunning views. 84 miles done, headwind again. by @allanerice

Day 7 - cycling for breath challenge.

Today has been a slog. Certainly feeling the affects of yesterdays 3 peaks. Legs felt like led!

Without a doubt best part of the day was getting some snacks from the BP / M&S simply foods garage in Spital. Seems a weird thing to say but after a long day we had a brilliant chat with the manager who brought a bright spark to the final stages of today’s cycle ride in our dazed and confused state. What’s more he kindly donated to our fundraising for @pulmonaryfibrosistrust

It goes to show that there is bright sparks of kindness in the world. Sadly in our dazedness we have totally forgot his name. So if you see this; huge heartfelt thanks from Sarah & Myself. Thanks for making our day, giving us encouragement and donating to our cause. ❤️ taken in BP by @allanerice
