One thing I love about working across London is that you never really stop discovering things.I’ve photographed properties around King’s Cross and St Pancras more times than I can count, yet I still find myself looking up every time I pass this building. The clock tower, the brickwork, the scale of it all… it feels different in every season and every light.Then you walk inside and see The Meeting Place, the huge bronze sculpture beneath the station clock. It’s meant to represent the emotion of travel, reunions and goodbyes. One of the things I love most about London is how often it surprises you.You can be walking through a Victorian neighbourhood, past rows of Georgian townhouses, and suddenly find yourself standing in front of a peaceful pagoda inspired by traditional East Asian architecture.This is the Peace Pagoda in Battersea Park, one of only a handful of such structures in the world. Built in 1985 by Japanese Buddhist monks, it was created as a symbol of peace, harmony and respect between cultures.It’s a reminder that London’s story has always been shaped by people, ideas and influences from every corner of the globe. That mix of history, architecture and culture is part of what makes exploring the city so rewarding.Moments like this are also why I enjoy photographing London. What I enjoy most about photographing Greek architecture is how it mixes simplicity and complexity, at first glance it’s just white walls, rooftops, and corridors, but the more you look, the more layers appear.The rooftops at lindos village resort remind me of traditional village homes, almost timeless in their design. And the stairways and arches create natural frames, guiding your eyes through the space while still keeping everything calm and minimal.That balance between pure geometry and human warmth is what makes Greek architecture so exciting to capture. #lindosvillage #lindosvillageresort #lindoshotels #rhodes #rhodesresort #canonuk #architecture #greekarchitecture #bts #photographer by @allanmenac

For me the fun part of shooting architecture is the hunt — walking around, scanning, waiting for that detail that just clicks. Most of the time you pass things by, but then you spot a corner, a shadow, a curve, and suddenly it feels special. That’s the challenge and the reward.Greek architecture is perfect for that. The white walls, sharp lines, and arches look simple, but when the sun hits them they turn into shapes and contrasts you don’t expect. At Lindos Village Resort it honestly felt like being in a real Greek village — calm, quiet, and full of little surprises everywhere I looked.I shot this with my Canon R5 and 200mm f/2.8 at ISO 125. The lens compression pulls everything flat, removes the noise, and leaves you with pure geometry — blue, white, and form. Unpopular opinion: The Beatles is one of the most overrated rock bands in History. I have personally never liked their music and I felt at some point that they were just a very popular band with catchy lyrics and melodies.
