Feeling a whole lot of gratitude to once again be in this earthly season that I was introduced to this world 27 years ago! This lap offered so many lessons, connections, moments of grounding. One sign of being blessed is having to choose which moments to highlight here, there are too many to choose from! Here are some glimpses into moments that meant something :)

I thank this earthly vessel for being capable of transporting this lil window of consciousness around the land to witness the beauties, absurdities, and intricacies of our world. I hold the flowers that blossomed close to my heart. I carry the water that charges this body to get me to the next mountain stream. I feel the love that graces all my relations.

Quyana to Agayun🙏 for creating an oasis for us to experience life. Quyana Nunarpak 🌎 for holding space and providing so many opportunities for nourishment. Quyana Akerta☀️ for the warmth and energy needed to power every action. Quyana Iraluuq🌒 for keeping a watchful eye. And Quyana Ellarpak🌌 for sharing a glimpse into the ultimate reality we all get a piece of.

doing cool things in a cooler place is one thing, but hangin around with cooler-er humans is a whole 'notha thing! feeling uber grateful for this crew and all the lovelies in my life that we get to share experiences together! it's all the little moments that add up to make life so gosh darn big! my heart is so full! this was a grand ole' production, complete with many many props, world's biggest fog machine, and an intricately designed stage! great acting out there folks! if you ever forget your next line or action, remember this:

Amazing stretch of weather for teaching a mountaineering course with @mferdockk & @evanclupper ! We made the most of conditions, and got to do some very cool things and see some pretty places! Thanks for getting us out there! @alaskamountaineeringschool

The Knuckles Traverse - Sometimes the travel was easy, sometimes it was hard, and then sometimes it was really hard.
Human trails, wide open moose trails, narrow moose trails, stream wading, and plenty of brush swimming made for a varied and engaging adventure. We were able to convince ourselves 30 miles should be reasonably easy, but we forgot to factor in that we were coming off the couch. Oops.
Regardless, we were rewarded with berries, astounding views, and a connection to a new area. Thanks @alaska_wildwoman for carrying the heavy things and allowing me to lead us off away from the easy walking and into the hard stuff! by @allendahl.o

The immensity of landscapes.

It is something special to be able to travel and live in an immense landscape. It is humbling to become further aware of your small existence in such a grand place.

Land such as this has provided since time immemorial, and has the ability to do so, but only if we are able to comprehend and respect its current value.
