Living in the moment for the moments
Happy Father’s Day 💙💙 by @allenfuneralsvcs

We honored and reflected on my Dad’s beautiful life Saturday, May 9, 2026. We cried, laughed and smiled at his huge accomplishments, and at the endless memories. I am truly blessed to have had a village of friends, and family show up with love, tears and support. The tributes, and amazing friends who reached out with their businesses, talents, and time, Í appreciate you. You all attending my Dads Memorial service means the world to me. I’ve decided to share a few of the many photos. I was unable to get photos with a few of you, but you already know, I love you. I honor, love and miss you, Daddy….until we meet again.

The family of Donald Allen Rickett entrusted Allen Funeral Services with the honor of celebrating the life and legacy of an extraordinary man — a devoted father, loving husband, caring brother, proud uncle, and loyal friend to so many.

Mr. Rickett carried himself with wisdom, humility, and purpose throughout his life. A man of great intellect and achievement, he earned a Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering, yet his greatest impact was not measured by titles or accomplishments, but by the love, guidance, and kindness he shared with everyone around him. His presence left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Rickett family for placing their trust in us during such a sacred and emotional time. It was truly an honor for Allen Funeral Services to serve your family and help commemorate a life so beautifully lived.

May the memories of Mr. Rickett continue to bring comfort, strength, and peace in the days ahead. by @allenfuneralsvcs

In life, we’re faced with countless decisions—some we make without thinking, and others that shape the rest of our lives forever. Every single day, I thank God for blessing me with the clarity and favor to make the greatest decision I’ve ever made… marrying my best friend.

My ride or die. My peace in the storm. My confidant. My biggest supporter. My laughter on hard days. My joy on good ones. My partner in everything.

Sylvia, you are truly God’s greatest gift to me. You’re everything I prayed for—and more than I ever knew I needed. Loving you is easy, and choosing you will always be the simplest decision I’ll ever make.

Happy Birthday, my love. I’m grateful for you today, tomorrow, and for life. Let’s celebrate the right way 💃🏽🕺🏽
I love you endlessly 🖤🖤🖤 by @allenfuneralsvcs
