Giant space robot princess. I make what I post. I excel at tedious. I have no middle gears.

If y’all are at all familiar with my crazy, you know that the gowns are just an excuse to make the hat. In fact, it is always difficult to actually accomplish Not. Naked. in time, because I’d honestly rather be working on the hat instead of some bullshit like hemming or fitting or patterning. I was pretty excited to work in this era (Romantic / 1830’s) BECAUSE the hats are so extra. So yay! here is my new Coal Scuttle bonnet. Carefully patterned so I can also do the extra 1830’s hairstyles lol.

(Mildly challenging to wear in an open bay with a stiff wind lol).

Gorgeous day on the Bay with @gbacg! New cosplay more suited to blustery/stormy/gothic horror wine dark seas, guess I’ll deal lol.

Had a loverly day with @gbacg and their Count of Monte Cristo sailing day adventure and my New Romantic Era dress. I was Not. Naked. Which is frankly a shocker considering i crammed it in a week lol.

Nothing like a cram session making a Coal Scuttle Romantic Era Bonnet for the @gbacg Count of Monte Cristo sailing THIS WEEKEND. Lol. (Hey, I’m almost Not Naked! I can make a hat!)

Speaking of, after 25 years? I finally ran out of the 30 yards of theatrical/crown weight buckram I scored when Rose Mille closed. Where are people getting their buckram these days? :)

Get ready with me for the Labyrinth Masquerade ball! I never remember to film these and I’m usually dressing in a parking lot anyway. however, the @thebiltmorela is gorgeous and I couldn’t take a resist the opportunity. However, I did have to cut out like 20 minutes of futzing and all the plaintive calls for assistance from the amazing @aimeekittycosplay
