I used to dream as a kid that I would study dolphins one day… and then I blinked and I’m living in Denver, going to school, not studying dolphins, but working on becoming who that little girl would be proud of… who she would look up at and be like wow that’s me? These last few years have been a rollercoaster of can I? Will I ever? Maybe one day? Everyday working harder in my studies, family, friendships, work and personal health to move past having those thoughts and knowing that everything is as it should be. There’s been times I forget how much I’ve grown, the work I’ve put in, and the strength I had to pick up my life and move somewhere I knew no one to focus on my dream. I remind myself everyday that the people I’m so grateful to have in my corner push me to be my best and happiest self. How lucky I am to grow and learn about life with those that are meant to be a part of it and working on respecting my own peace. Focusing on being my own cheerleader and remembering how big that little girl in the second picture dreamed. by @allie.babaa
