One Sunday evening you’ll find yourself at dinner with friends and ask “can you find us a way to ethically adopt a Bernese Mountain Dog?” And then said friend will find you one in 10 minutes that you go and rescue 6 days later.

Also major shoutout to @bordertailsrescue for bringing this guy into our lives. After Tuna passed we knew we were going to take our time finding the next big goofball and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. He’s truly the best we could have hoped for.

Tuna captured my heart the day I met her four years ago. I’m so proud to have been her momma since. I’m sorry I gave you a brother you never asked for but I know he feels the house is a little empty too. Today marks 10 years of the best bar in Chicago. The bar where I met some of my favorite people and the love of my life. At some point the photo quality got better and High Lifes turned into Guinness. I’ve laughed, danced, cried and sang in this little room. My grandma Kathy left us on Monday. She will be remembered as a wife, mother, and most of all, an amazing grandma. She taught me all of my favorite card games (including how to properly shuffle), built puzzles with me, spent hours with coloring books, and never missed a volleyball game. We spent the last week by her sleeping side playing games, laughing and singing along to Elvis.
