What a special guy!!! ❤️ He gave so much all week (along with so many others), working 90+ hours at the milkshake stand. Yet he still made breakfast for the family so we could all enjoy a few hours together at home. Then he made Connor’s dream come true with a trip to a whiteout PSU game!

4-H is full of life lessons- not all are sunshine and roses. Tonight’s lesson was a tough one. Probably one of the toughest so far.

Jocelyn and Connor’s dairy beef steers didn’t make weight at the farm show. After battling with them all summer to gain weight and finally feeling like we were over the hump, they still came up short.

The financial loss hurts, especially because these projects are how they fund their college accounts. But maybe this is where the lessons they wrote about in their potential buyer letters become really real and more than just words on a paper—determination, patience, and choosing to keep working even when things don’t go the way you hoped.

Nine months of hard work and countless hours may not have ended the way they wanted, but I hope they realize those hours were not a waste. The character they’ve been building through these projects is worth far more than what they lost. ❤️ 🐄 by @allieg083

10/1/2000 — 26 years later, I’d say that sixteen-year-old girl made a pretty great decision. ❤️

It was an easy yes then to dating him, and after 26 years, it would still be an easy yes today. ☺️

I saw something special in him even then—qualities I hoped would one day make him my husband. Who knew that little yes would lead to a lifetime of growing, choosing each other, and building this life we love ❤️ by @allieg083

6 years ago she hung up her ballet shoes and gave basketball a try—with Daddy as her coach. What started as “just giving it a try” grew into a love, a passion, and eventually a dream to play in college.

She worked hard, spent countless hours in the gym, and explored schools all over the East Coast. I never imagined she’d choose one right in our backyard, but watching her pray, seek God, and trust Him through this process has been the absolute sweetest!!

It’s abundantly clear—that Elizabethtown College is the perfect place for her to play basketball and pursue her dream of becoming an elementary teacher. We couldn’t be more excited or proud!
