Bobby was born in 1926, turning 100 years old in 28 days. I’m beyond grateful to have the opportunity to ride Marks colt for Bobby Yanez yesterday. He is the sweetest and funniest, RANKEST good ole cowboy I have ever met. His most favorite song is Strawberry Roan. We talked story about all the history behind these photos. For those who know my mom, know she’s the heart and soul of this business. Over the years, she’s become a mother figure for a lot of our customers. She’s wise and kind, would talk with them for hours during our market. I loved watching them love my mom as much as I do. They even started calling her ma, too. I don’t mind sharing her, she’s just that damn awesome.

We wish we could cover the expenses by our own works and strength. I’ve never started a go fund me before so this is pretty scary, coming from a family where we take pride in what we do, always. I was told multiple times to start one, so here goes. I don’t expect much out of it, and Jesus provides what we need. Prayer is just as valuable to us and greatly appreciated. Doesn’t matter what you leave your children. It’s who you are that stays with them forever. Integrity of character is the most important thing my mom and dad imprinted in me.. My dad bought this red 9’0 Donald Takayama back in 1997 for El Niño . This is what I learned to surf on. Below, is a board I saw at the thrift store not even priced yet. But I gave an offer and took it home. hope to surf it this El Niño winter.
Without the people & animals that have shaped who I am, not one thing in my room would have a story.
