February 17th is the solar eclipse, the lunar new year and the new moon in Aquarius. Eclipse season is upon us, and that means it’s a great time to pause, reflect, observe, and be very present to whatever symbolism life is offering up to us right now.

Eclipses can be a little volatile and unstable because our main source of light is being obscured. In ancient times, people feared eclipses for that reason. Sometimes it can create a little bit of chaos in our lives, but that chaos is very purposeful, and is leading us to a place of higher order. They’re like great karmic scales that come through to balance whatever is out of whack.

I don’t think eclipses are to be feared, but I do think they are to be respected and held gently. It’s a great time to sit in the observers seat and practice presence. What is showing up for you, and how can you integrate the wisdom that’s being revealed to you?

A mantra for this eclipse could be: I’m grounded, I’m connected to the earth, and I’m the observer not the absorber.🌀 by @alliemoves

The full moon in Leo is here and she’s asking us to examine our relationship with visibility and courage. Visability is not neutral, and many of us have deep-seated fears about being seen for who we truly are. When our body perceives being seen as a threat, even if it’s on an unconscious level, we will find all kinds of ways not to show up in the world as a mode of self protection. The moon represents our unconscious mind and, when full, illuminates the shadowy parts of our subconscious. You can harness this energy to excavate any hidden beliefs around visibility that are waiting to be brought into the light and cleared.

Mantra: it is safe to be seen for who I truly am, and it is safe to grow into exactly who I am meant to become 🌱 by @alliemoves

On January 26, Neptune enters Aries and a new 14 year cycle begins. As the spell of Neptune in Pisces starts to lift, we may begin to experience more clarity, and a desire to disconnect from any outdated collective dreams. Aries, the sign of the self, begins to call us home to our bodies and to our own individual paths. We may start to find the courage to return to our own unique way of seeing things as the fog of Neptune lifts and shifts.

Your mantra could be: my beliefs, values and vision are stronger than the current of the collective algorithm✨ by @alliemoves

This new moon in Capricorn on January 18th asks us to take a big long deep breath, and survey our landscape from a new vantage point. Capricorn is ruled by big daddy Saturn, planet of discipline, karma, and boundaries, so we may be learning lessons right now through external limitations that are being placed on us, or experiencing delayed gratification of our desires and manifestations. Capricorn asks us to assess our goals and be honest with ourselves about our energetic capacity.

Mantra: it’s OK to take my time. It’s not a sprint, it’s a marathon.🌄 by @alliemoves

Devotion creates ripples of light on the lake of my mind. with greater Devotion the lake becomes calm and still, reflecting many facets of reality back at me. tiny whirlpools are created that become mirror portals into new realities. if a timeline jump is just a turn of the page, a shift in perception, an ability to tap into an already existing dimension, Devotion is an accelerated way to turn that page. If you’ve fallen out of a state of Devotion (i often do), the Equinox is a time to gently draw that state closer, let it light a soft flame in your chest that acts as a lamp in the dark, a guide, a source of connection. then stoke the flame, watch it catch, let it illuminate the form, the color, the dance of your Devotion. by @alliemoves
