The weekday work duty crew🐥🫡

So beyond grateful for the people who became early risers to prep and serve, all while singing worship and doing it together. What could have felt like just another responsibility became such a joyful and meaningful part of my time here. So thankful for this crew and the way we got to serve the Lord side by side.

To be so transparent
When I was told my work duty would be at 5:30am every morning I was upset and stressed. I am jealous for my mornings.

I went to Jesus complaining so fast. Grumbling about the plans I made in my mind and how the school schedule was “unraveling” them.
But, Jesus quickly reminded me of when I told Him I wanted to stay on Pacific time as much as possible. (Did that one to myself lol)
Then He also reminded me to trust Him knowing He knows me better than I know myself and knows what I need.

He absolutely does.

I LOVED my morning work duty AND my early mornings with the Lord.
I asked God to wake me up at 3:30am, first because I knew in my own strength there was no way I could or would want to do it especially when that alarm goes off, and second I wanted (knew I needed) that time alone with Him.

Starting my day with God and ending my day with Him.
Because He is worthy. Because I need Him to sustain me.

It was from this place that I was able to listen and digest mass readings of scripture, lectures, conversations and engage back as well.
He is my life source. Remembering and knowing His faithfulness is what kept me going with this schedule.

I will never forget when I came to my room leader and said “I’m getting tired of these early mornings”
Immediately she replied “but we stay faithful because He is faithful” -Duda
After that the Lord revealed to me I NEEDED that time with Him.

Following, I was excited and eager for my workout and prayer walks under the stars blasting worship music in my ears singing.

Just me and Him.

The overflow of joy, love, gratitude, and peace I have is all because Jesus is walking right beside me.

There has been hard times, don’t get me wrong. Life is hard, and faith is hard too. But remembering the Lord’s faithfulness and knowing He is the only One worthy of every bit of my heart and trust is where I find true rest, a feeling that is impossible to know without Jesus. Giving everything to Him because of who He is, not because of my circumstances, is why I know I will always be okay, even when it doesn’t feel like it.

His faithfulness has never failed me, and His goodness continues to carry me.

Chapter 3: DBS 📖🤍

I get to read the entire Bible with a bunch of other people who want to read the entire Bible.

Learning the true character and nature of God, making loving friendships, and watching Him constantly, but ever so kindly, remind me that I can go straight to Him for anything and everything, and more importantly, that He wants me to. 🤗 (slide 6)

So grateful for this season and all that He’s teaching me.

I am in love with Jesus. And this is my official announcement. ✝️

He has completely changed my life. I went from being chronically ill, empty, and lost in my identity to experiencing His gentleness, patience, joy, peace, and most importantly, His love. As I continue to run toward Him, the Lord is healing my mind, body, and spirit.

• Baptized in 2025
• camp leader for HS Christian summer camp (gentle intro to the next year of my life)
• Discipleship Training School — growing deeper in faith, learning to recognize His voice, and building a relationship with God
• IVs — a season that revealed God’s faithfulness through sickness and healing
• Outreach — sharing the love and gospel of Jesus with others, lots of praying and listening:)
• Port removed — another reminder of God’s healing, provision, and grace
• Discipleship Bible School — seeking God’s character and nature, growing deeper in love with Him, and be equipped for His calling

Jesus changed everything.
