Graham signs with Allingham Racing for 2022 Emzone Radical Canada Cup

Bowmanville, Ontario based racing team, Allingham Racing, announced today that the team would be expanding to a two car Radical SR3 effort for 2022. Joining the team will be former Radical Canada Cup champion and 2021 Emzone Radical Canada Cup championship runner up Matt Graham.

"We're excited to officially add a race winning driver like Matt to our team," commented Team Principal Leslie Allingham. "After running as collaborating but independent efforts in 2021, we're looking forward to really stepping things up in 2022 as full time, two car program."

Longtime Allingham Racing driver Doug Allingham said he relished the opportunity to race alongside Graham as teammates in 2022. "Matt and I have raced together for several years. Bringing a driver like Matt into the team is definitely going to benefit both of us."

"I'm excited to join the team for 2022," enthused multi-time race winner Graham. "My race engineer Richard Foegele and I worked pretty closely with Doug, Leslie and the entire Allingham Racing crew in 2021. Fully joining forces in 2022 gives us a great opportunity to fight for race wins and potentially the season championship."

Graham will continue to pilot the #31 Radical SR3 XX, with Allingham planning to campaign the #33 Radical SR3 RSX carrying title sponsorship from Ontario Tech University. Graham said he is still in negotiations to finalise sponsors, but did confirm that partners Quizefy, and Calabogie Motorsports Park would be back on board for 2022.

"FEL Motorsports did an outstanding job in the first year of the Emzone Radical Canada Cup. Grids grew all season, and racing was good throughout the field," said Allingham. "We're looking forward to continued growth in the series in 2022."

Allingham Racing are hard at work preparing both of their Radical SR3s for the season, with preseason testing planned for late April and early May ahead of the first event of the season at the Victoria Day Speedfest, May 20-22 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
