Tonight I wore a South Hardin jersey for the last time, closing the chapter on a journey filled with unforgettable memories. Over the years, I’ve poured my heart into volleyball, basketball, track, and softball. Gaining friendships, growth, and life lessons that came with each season. I’ve learned the value of hard work, resilience, and teamwork, and I’ve had the privilege of competing alongside teammates who became my family. While it’s hard to say goodbye, I’m walking away proud of everything I’ve given and grateful for everything I’ve gained. This isn’t just the end of high school sports, it’s the beginning of who I’ve become because of them 💌

It’s hard to accept that this chapter is over. At times, it feels as if all of the work and countless hours put into this was worthless, but it wasn’t. Showing up every single day, even when it was tough, shaped me in ways I’ll carry forever. The highs, the lows, the lessons, the friendships, and all of the memories- this sport gave me more than I could’ve imagined. A huge thank you to all my coaches and all of my teammates for making this journey unforgettable.

Lastly, I want to give my parents the biggest shoutout. All of the time they have put into me and this sport means more than anything to me. I wouldn’t be where I am today if I didn’t have their constant support pushing me to be my best, and standing by my side every step of the way. by @allisheldahl
