Was hoping to catch the fall foliage in Japan but we were a bit early - can start to see some of the leaves changing though!

This was also one of the hottest days of our trip and the most jam packed. Got up at 6am in an attempt to get to the bamboo forest before everyone else. Explored the area around there before having to rush to Gion for our kimono rental afternoon (almost missed our stop on the bus if not for Lucas shouting “sumimasen!!!!”)

Despite it being a hectic day within Kyoto, still had so much fun, and got to enjoy the sunset and strolling around Gion before ending the night with our usual Teishoku meal.
