On his knees or in the gym, on the golf course or at the dinner table, impromptu lunch dates and well planned adventures, dance moves and deep thoughts, this man is God’s greatest illustration of delight and faithfulness in my life. These aren’t all of our first-day pictures, because so many of our first days were simply part of the ordinary and extraordinary adventures of daily life, learning to read on the front porch, traveling together and hiking a mountain, visiting a dairy farm, exploring a fire station, knitting, sewing or crafting at the kitchen table. The homeschool years will remain one of the greatest gifts of my life. For everything there is a season.

But these are a few of the first days from the last couple of years as we’ve ventured through different settings, being challenged and growing through all the choices and struggles and glories along the way.

And while firsts are good for the heart, full of hope and the promise of mercy, lasts are good for the soul, full of gratitude and proof of faithfulness.

Here’s to fifth, seventh, eighth, sophomore, and senior year!

It felt like the right time to step in front of the camera again. It has been nearly ten years since all seven of us stood on the same side of the lens. Not because life has settled, but because we’ve lived enough years now to see faithfulness written through them.

“Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.”

Twenty years of marriage, our oldest entering her senior year. The little years have quietly given way to the bigger ones, with all of the memories and heartache and joys and trials, all that comes when the small things make way for the greater ones.

There have been seasons of refining. Seasons of letting go. Seasons of choosing courage before we knew what waited on the other side. Looking back now, I can see the quiet rhythm of planting and waiting, of pruning and fruit. The harvest always comes in its season.

“Blessed assurance.”

Looking at these photographs, I see a story that has been held far more than it has ever been built.

“This is my story. This is my song.”

Anything beautiful is all of the Maker, anything good is only from the Giver.

“Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.”

And He is not finished yet. Phil. 1:6.

All seven of us served alongside 92 students and adults from our community at Camp Barnabas. I spent the week as a cabin mom of twenty two precious girls, sharing victories, mishaps, and a hundred ordinary moments that somehow never feel ordinary by the time we leave. Morning songs before the sun had fully risen. Quiet prayers after the cabin lights were out. Laughter that found its way into every corner.
I think one of the greatest gifts of returning year after year is watching our children grow up in a place like this. Not because camp exists apart from real life, but because it reminds us what life has always been meant to look like, a closer glimpse of Heaven on earth.
And so, we came home with overflowing laundry, tired bodies, and hearts that feel a little more awake than they did a week ago.
I am grateful that this place has become woven into our family’s story, a blessing we would’ve never known to pray for, gentle and tender and good. Zeph 3:17. The best is yet to come. by @allisoncorrin

Woven through my children’s stories will always be her presence of whimsy and art.
God chose to bring her into our lives thirteen years ago, when I was working so many delightful and unpredictable hours with @allisoncorrinphotography. She became the missing piece that brought it all together in more ways than we could have imagined. She cared for us all in the practical and playful.
From shoe-tying lessons and playful April Fools’ Day teasing to tea parties, May baskets, and countless hours spent cake decorating, crafting, and painting, she has a way of weaving wonder and sunshine into everything she does. I have learned just as much from her as my children have.
We love you, Miss Stacey. Florida is the lucky one. by @allisoncorrin

He is laughter and strength, mischievous and humble, driven and tender alike. He is the reason my last two decades have been my favorite. Marriage is worth celebrating, and the best is yet to come. Happy twenty years and another week, my love, @cfrench360 .
